I used to play this on a cassette adapter in my car in high school. I was graced with the opportunity to come of age during the hey day of Hard rock and heavy metal. Even played in a band or two my self. Today's music lacks craft and talent. It's all way too dark and depressing. Who ever decided every song has to try and change the world ruined rock and roll. A great song is just simple light hearted and fun. But features the best musicians possible :)

I went to high school in the 80"s and i used to wear a Y&T shirt and people would always say "hell yeah they fucking rock",Y&T were almost like a little underground rock band secret that not alot of people knew that existed

@lamons71 I have Los Angeles radio 94.7 KMET METAL shop shows from 1984 where it all began that feature Y&T and a ton of other bands on them. E-bay - Search KMET Jim Ladd. I found a box full of tapes that I taped back in the day that I transfered to CD. Excellent quality. Check it out. Back in LA where it all started.

@lamons71 - Totally agree with your statement. I used to make mix mix tapes for my friends in the mid eighties and i always put lipstick and leather as the first song on side 2 and they were always blow away by it. None of them ever heard of them but they all loved the song when they heard it.

I would say music died around jan 1 1994, i remmeber when i was in high school guns n roses and skid row were huge then right before i graduated NIrvana hit and rock died R.I.P Rock!

See, I used to dislike Nirvana, but I now realize they still had the same spirit; they weren't just copying trends and trying to cash in.

Now days, it seems like rock is just about the "product". It's bland and lost all meaning.

Music hasn't died, but rock's been turned into a walking, lifeless corpse. It's sterile.

Well the music was great from the 50' 60's 70's and the 80's and it went really really really gay when the backstab boys came out, mini pops, and some other shit that came out that i dont care to type. The good music died on January 1st 1990.

Their first three albums ( this was before cds ) were awesome, original, inspiring, creative and influential. Those were Yesterday & Today, Struckdown and Earthshaker. Everything that came after was mediocre to downright bad. All originality was gone and they were just doing formula rock to sell albums and make money much like Journey did after their first 3-4 albums

Y&T albums in the 70's were far better,...their 80's stuff is okay,....but it just doesnt compare to their stuff in the 70's. The 80's destroyed the sound of many bands from the 70's. That's the music industry for you!

Wrong! The 80's improved the sound of many bands of the 70's! Aerosmith had 4 Tri-platinums albums in the 80's than they were hitting GOLD in 70's! So did AC/DC, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Quiet Riot, Rush, Journey, STYX, Van Halen and etc... They all had biggest selling albums in the 80's than the 70's because they improved the stereo sound with heavier guitars and fatter drums! And they all ROCK harder!!
