Shane didn't burn down Wax. Paige did it. I refuse to believe that she did it. I can't see Shane as being a pyro. First of all, if I was Shane, I would have never brought that up if I was the sole culprit. It just doesn't make any sense at all. To me, this is the equivalent as in why Nikki Stevens was hiding in the damn bushes when the cops showed up. All I have to say is: WTF! I'm so over this show now.
Holy shit, Shane burned down Wax? Hang on, that kind of doesn't make sense... and now another loose end - is she gonna get done for that? Jeez louise this show does my head in.
Shane burned down Wax for the insurance money and she won't go to jail for it because she asked them what is the statue limitation on arson they said one year...meaning after one year she can't be punished for burning down Wax and shane said it happened 18 months ago (year and a half ago) so she can't go to jail for burning it down even though she confessed she did.
Shane didn't own that place. It was her partner who offered her space for a hairdressing studio so that he would improve his business that way. As I understood it, Shane didn't pay any rent there but she also didn't own anything. So how could she claim an insurance money?
I know its weird...its just when Shane said "I burnt my business down" I just figured maybe its hers now and also in Season 5 Shane was filling out the insurance forms not the guy so I guess maybe its her business now...I don't know its too confusing maybe that is why they didn't put it in the show because it has too many loose ends.
@wickedalwayz82=No way, Shane and Jenny should not belong together at all. Shane is the most promiscuous person and the biggest lady killer and womanizer of the whole show, she was the wrong girl whom Jenny has fallen for, and they are not right nor perfect nor suitable for each other as a couple, even though they have been best friends and roommates for for or five years. What Jenny can never earn from Shane is her fidelity.

I guess it's just one of the many discrepances in the show. Where would Shane find money to buy a business at all? The writers f***ed that one up.
