  • Damn 47 seconds to say the alphabet?.....

  • He has perfect black skin.

  • we love you Jackie

  • To those who made the nasty comments particuarly those about reading from cue cards. Jackie Robinson in his later years suffered from the ravages of diabetes which cost him his eyesight and caused a premature death at the age of 53 in 1972 and as a diabetic those comments make me sick

  • lol W = dabuya

  • You fail the sobriety test

  • ...it kinda looks like he's reading off cue cards....

  • Ok you know what you guys who slander Jackie really have nothing better to do. Do you? You guys make me sick. Jackie Robinson was a wonderful human being. Better then you who slander him!

I say W about the same way he does but I'm white. I have to admit it's cute how he says W. I happen to LOVE Jackie Robinson.

  • @Theboxer500 lol

  • Watching this after James Earl Jone's alphabet reciting was like eating a beautiful steak and some fine wine and following it up with some literal fecal matter into the mouth.

  • That was the most serious reciting of the alphabet I've ever heard in my (almost) 24 years of life. Jeez.

  • Never knew Jackie Robinson was on SS. Thanks for posting.

  • That would have terrified me at age 1, I would have begged my mommy to never make me do the alphabet again.

  • Hide your belongings!

  • @tommieturner23 - I want you to know that I'm just being a dick. Don't you also recognise the comedic element of my comment? Likewise, you also have said some very funny shit here. Excellent dear Sir.

  • doublya

  • Thumbs up if you came here from watching Most Offensive Video's Jackie Robinson video

  • @Copper20 yup lol

  • This is why we have a song, guys!

  • jackie robinson had a great career playing for the brooklyn dodger

  • This goddamned groid is fucking struggling with it! LOOK at him. I wonder how many takes it took for him to say the alphabet without mixing #s into it or repeating letters?!

  • @ajschlagler Jackie was a graduate of UCLA so I don't believe he was struggling with the alphabet. Rather than judge him maybe you should judge someone who can't write a sentence without have to use profanity to fill up space.

  • @ajschlagler Wow, I think it's amazing that an inbred mouth breather like yourself can type. By the way, how do you circumcise a hillbilly? Kick his sister in the chin. Now go home and practice squealing like a pig, Gomer.

  • dub ya

  • R.I.P Jackie

lol look like he bout to crap himself while saying it tho

  • Jackie Robinson from breaking the color barrier in baseball to teaching children the alphabet. How cool is that.

  • He would die 2 years later.

  • Well what do you know? I saw a piece of history and never knew it. :)

  • I have a video posted on Youtube of an interview I did of Jackie Robinson's grandson.

  • DUBBA-YA!!!

  • rip jackie. I like they way W is pronounced double-ya. its original.

  • Jackie died a young gun in my eyes. He was only 53 when he passed. That is not old to me. I believe Jackie Jr died at the age of 24 in an auto accident. His other son David, lives in Africa, and runs a coffee farm.

  • I love how he said W

  • W is one of those letters that everyone tends to say weirdly

  • Yeah. But I say it DOUBLE-U

  • @DaVoltaire He was born in Georgia where everyone, black or white , pronounces words differently than Yankees

  • Still, Duble-Ya? Damn Southerners poluuting the English language with their mis-pronunciations.

  • @DaVoltaire People speak differently in differently regions of the country. Unfortunately, to be fair, its not limited to the South. Ever hear of Brookynese? How they speak in Damon Runyon stories? So if we embark on a crusade to get people to speak properly, we have a lot of work to do. If you want to start with the rednecks, okay.

  • U-R-A FOOL!

  • rip jackie robinson but this vid was funny lmao. why so serious?

  • If this was 1969 it was really sad by the time he died in 1972. Pretty much he was going down hill phyiscally obviously because of the diabetes complications and that plagued his life. I mean by the time he died, he was in a wheel chair and nearly blind because of the diabetes complications. Still we all can thank this man for giving other minorities the chance to play in majors.

  • @britneystakes Hey dont talk about my cuz like that ok

  • Jackie Robinson definitely took the alphabet seriously.

  • @whataburgerfan1 racist.. kkk

  • Because Jackie Robinson loved the alphabet.

  • Jackie Robinson rules. He played for the Montreal Royals at one time

  • Never in my life did I actually get goose bumps from the Alphabet.

  • dubya

  • Jackie Robinson-One of the best baseball players of all time.We will always remember you Jackie!

  • he died in 1972. sesame street must be a real old show.

  • it started in 1969 THPVids2K8

  • He must have done this the same day James Earl Jones did. Jones is either somewhere off to the side waiting for his turn.

  • One of the greatest amerericans who ever lived

  • R.I.P Jackie You'll Always Be Remebered

The #42 Is A Number That A hero Should Ware

  • I did my term paper on him.

  • How did it go???

  • i wrote about the social impact Robinson had on America (this is for ap american history)and I got an A. I'm pretty happy about that.

  • Cool! Getting good grades feels awesome

  • an amazing lifetime we who were kids then are having ... from then to now whoo hooo

    How cool.

  • It's interesting how this man's spirit and class comes through in such a simple act as reciting the alphabet for kids. Respect.

    PEACE

  • Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in baseball now teaching kids circa 1970 the alphabet.

  • The James Earl Jones version is much better

  • why does every letter sound like he is asking a question?

  • Y, indeed?

  • This is a great video.

  • Wow!! i've never seen this one. This is a piece of history, thanks for posting it!
