3. Windows and linux (you can actually buy computers that come with forms of linux on it, but bieing a gamer i would get a windows and duel boot a form of linux on it.) don't cheat you on hardware like mac does.
These are my 3 major veiws on computer. i mean to offend no one.

I don't get why people argue about which is better, they both have their pros and cons, but it really comes down to which one YOU want, not what everyone else thinks you should have. Personally I find macs easier to use but that's just me. Everyone can have their own opinion.
Better quality videos in smaller file storage? thats a lie, you can't have both of those, better quality is directly proportional to size.

People should not be concerned with whether or not macs are better than PCs. What people should be concerned about is how we can create a computer that has all the useful and helpful things a PC and a Mac have that leaves all the annoying unhelpful stuff out.

Macs are georgeus brand PCs limited to closed hardware compatible with an "exclusive" operating system that is based on UNIX so you dont have (much) viruses.
PCs are fully upgradeable machines that costs half of a mac and can be modified to your taste and needs.
You want a mac? Get a PC with Ubuntu and its the same.

PCs are faster and cheaper and they have more hardware and software. I have Macs and PCs. And even the games that can run on both OSs run better in Windows. that's just theories, the people in the videogame industrie use pc with windows system. most of the softwares, like 3D studio max, are only availble on pc. Mac is more for audio and video. personaly, I will keep my pc :)

Video game creating software? Unless you are licensing a game engine, games are coded from the ground up. If you are referring to asset creating programs (modelling, texture creation, sound mixing, etc.) many are multi-platform, even OpenSource (Blender, GIMP, Audacity).

Mac vs PC
Macs are georgeus brand PCs limited to closed hardware compatible with an "exclusive" operating system that is based on UNIX so you dont have (much) viruses.
PCs are fully upgradeable machines that costs half of a mac and can be modified to your taste and needs.
You want a mac? Get a PC with Ubuntu and its the same.

PCs are faster and cheaper and they have more hardware and software. I have Macs and PCs. And even the games that can run on both OSs run better in Windows. Even when comparing Windows to Mac OS on the same iMac. Mac OS is a solid OS, but it doesn't compare to Windows. Same goes with Linux, but Linux has so much more potential use then Mac OS.

i think this is mostly intended to negate the hate between mac and pc, he has a pc and a mac, a mac for video editing, and a pc for the things he can't do on the mac, its simple, and very logical imo, im getting a new pc for video editing and gaming, but for my school im getting a macbook pro, why? because a macbook pro has much better performance than a microsoft laptop (i pay a little more, but i get mroe in return) I have the pc because it is more viable for upgrades and less expensive

this is like choosing between pepsi and coke. let it go already. Whether mac is faster or more mainstream, a pc is just as good. But people are never satisfied with average or just above average speed. I dont like the mac input in general. I'm too used to windows. I can't stand using macs, specially those macbook pro's.

PC = Games and programs.

that's just theories, the people in the videogame industrie use pc with windows system. most of the softwares, like 3D studio max, are only availble on pc. Mac is more for audio and video. personaly, I will keep my pc :)

Video game creating software? Unless you are licensing a game engine, games are coded from the ground up. If you are referring to asset creating programs (modelling, texture creation, sound mixing, etc.) many are multi-platform, even OpenSource (Blender, GIMP, Audacity).
