  • Great form! Usually people have shit form and say they can do 60+.

  • Damn, i can only do like 53-54 pushups. I have been doing pushups for like 1 or 2 months and i need to do it more often. I only do pushups once a day. My goal is to do 70 in a min. wish me luck!

  • @TacoTori thats excellent! at 12yrs 28 push ups is almost unheard of, let alone for a girl. Are you sure you can do 28?!

  • @TacoTori Im a 15 year old guy and I play rugby, i can manage about 50 in a minute! your doing really well! Now you have something to aim for! Just never push yourself too much!

    I did 50 in 30 seconds and breaked a few seconds and finished it off.

  • good job. i have a real issue getting over 25. i know its lame but my arms have a complete failure after 25. havent gotten anywhere in over a year now. its probably because i have skinny arms smh

  • There are many variations in pushups. You sound like a newbie yourself.

  • this is not a push up,your butt should go higher,your legs should be more apart and your arms should be a little bit closer,i mean,good job for this,but its not a push up,and this is way easier than a proper push up,anyway,nice to see someone's practising

  • @NarutoUzumakis there are many variants on pushups and having my legs futher apart would make it easier as i wouldnt need to stabalise my core as much. Having my butt any higher would mean i would not be in a plank position making it easier. As for hand positions well that is not specified for the 'PERFECT PUSHUP' as it depends on what muscles you want to emphasis (tris/pecs). I decided my spacing on the fact when i go down they are 90degrees to the floor

  • @Hoontae uhhh actually I have'nt done the push up test in a long time I really don't know how many I can do i'm just saying that's how I do them. I usually when doing push up workouts do 2 sets of 40 reps and one set of 20 within a 10 or 15 (never exactly sure) minute period. That's about hundred pushups and it leaves me feeling sore so yeah

  • @SolidSnake0023 i would just try out this test and see how you do, good or bad score doesnt really matter. its just to see where you are with this and then you can see if you made any improvements later on when you repeat the test.

  • @NarutoUzumakis The push-up he did is actually HARDER because his legs are together - it is more of a core challenge. When your butt is in the air you are doing push-ups INcorrectly and throwing your body out of alignment. Where did you get your form pointers? If a trainer told your these things he needs to go back for some real training or he needs to be fired but you got bad information.

  • @NarutoUzumakis "not a push up" is too vague. theres diamond press ups where your hands meet in the center, standard press ups with hands at shoulder width apart, wide press ups (which this guy is doing), and many other variants of push up. The body should stay straight as this utilizes the core muscles to maintain posture, and the closer the feet are together the more it works your core as you have to maintain balance. and actually the press ups he is doing are HARDER than "proper" press ups.

  • Nice, also note that keeping your head up will keep the spine in alignment which helps with form.
