  • I'm sure 2 of the dislikes are Ringo and McCartney, maybe the third is their producer George Martin. AND Did anyone notice the awesome Big screen live video behind the band? Pay close attention at around 0:40 and you will see it. I think its pretty amazing because I don't recall anyone else using this tecnology for many years after this. The Stones NEVER did during their big "Lets Spend the Night Together" stadium tours in 81-82. SO..... yet another FIRST for Zep.

  • no matter what the best music was Its was the 70"s

  • Best version of Kashmir... The consistency of Bonham's drumming without the temptation to go mad in between jams is horrendous!!!

  • Amazing !!!!!!!

  • @nholt nope it aint.

  • sex, drug, satanic and rock roll, Men

  • @MrJimmypage32 Satanic??? Zep was far from Satanic, infact if u listen to their music they were quite spiritual. Neva Put that word in the same sentence as Zeppelin! This was God given talent. Inspiration, masterbation...lolol

  • sex, drug, satanic and rock roll, Men

  • If there were four men deemed Godly enough to walk on the Earth to bring forth their epic power, it was James Patrick Page, John Baldwin (John Paul Jones), John Henry Bonham, and Robert Anthony Plant. Long may the Zeppelin fly.

  • Holy, Holy Christ... this is one of the top 5 songs ever created... there were 10 commandments, each only half as important as this song.

  • Robert looks hot..

  • WHOSE THE ONE FAGGOT THAT DISLIKED THIS!?!?!?

  • @axuilary15 Three. Three faggots.

  • Zeppelin will be remembered with Beethoven and Mozart. Dunno about the individuals, though. Seperately they're just talented musicians, together they're the Voice of God.

  • is it me or did i hear page hit a couple wrong notes

  • @ChildrenOfDoom662

Lol he can do what he wants : P

  • @ChildrenOfDoom662 i think your deficient "brain" hit a couple of wrong notes RETARD

  • Favorite Zep tune. Relentlessly hypnotic.

  • Zeppelin, the hammer of the god

  • Bonham bare-knuckling that gong at the end is epic.

  • semplicemente fantastici

  • did you know that devo and eveo and all that other shit wasent around when MT first came out now they think we would rather watch commercials than music videos .......the world will end soon. hey i know that people like to make money.but lets have more commercials with less and less music and then no music and see how many viewers you have. foooookin idgettts

    Best rock singer: Robert Plant

Second best rock drummer: John Bonham (first is Keith Moon)

Best rock bass player: John Paul Jones

Best rock gig of all time: frankly I don´t know

Second best rock album of all time: Led Zeppelin IV (first is Dark dide of The Moon)

Best Rock song of all time: Stairway to Heaven

Best rock band EVER: Led Zeppelin

    Led Zeppelin=ROCK

  • @KLthebig U R RIGTH 100%!!!

  • Thank you dude. Much appreciated.

    ; D

  • @KLthebig I agree

  • Thanks

  • @KLthebig I'd put Page ahead of Hendrix, for creativity and longevity. Best rock drummer; toss-up between Bonham and Neil Peart. Best rock bassist; Paul McCartney. Best bassist to ever walk the earth. Jones doesn't even make the Top 10. Best rock singer: Plant. Best rock band; Beatles. Best LIVE rock act; Led Zeppelin. Best rock album; too many excellent choices to know. Best rock song; same answer. Bottom line? Good, better, best, no relevance. Overall, you like what you like.

  • Your list is interesting. I had completly forgot Neil Peart!!

But, in rock, I still think (me and millions of people) that Zeppelin is the best band of all time

I like the Beatles. In fact, when you say they are superior when compared to Zeppelin, I can´t deny. Zeppelin was, probably the most innovative band of the second half of the XX century. Without them, POP music would probably never existed. BUT in ROCK. ROCK. I´m sorry my friend, but in ROCK Zeppelin are the true kings of the genre

  • @KLthebig I think you meant to say that the Beatles, not Zeppelin, were probably the most innovative band of the second half of the XX century (judging by the opening content of your reply). The distinction between pop and rock is a relevant distinction, however, it can be a distinction that is not consistent, as, by example, the Beatles also did rock material in addition to pop, and Led Zeppelin also did acoustic ballads in addition to rock. (Commentary continued).

  • @KLthebig Ultimately, your own personal choice of what you enjoy is all that is relevant. Comparisons regarding superiority is a waste of time. All that is factual are sales statistics. Everything else is personal preference. I enjoy a wide variety of music by my own inclinations. I'm sure that this applies to yourself, as well. Music is the gift; how it is demonstrated varies tremendously, and I am appreciative of the variation.

  • Good point of view

I also guide myself in the mainstream magazines and reviwers tops, but the personal opinion is the most important opinion.

  • @cosg9531

Even 8:00 - 9:00 part of this composition, stands for me higher than the whole music of Beatles. I don't care what "music experts" say, best experts for me, are my ears.

  • @Qartveliiii All that matters for anyone is their personal preference. Enjoy.

  • @KLthebig amen to that!

  • ; D

  • \m/ \o/

  • Masterpiece.

  • Jimmy page is a master....forever

  • Bonzo!!!

  • Eargasm.

  • To me...the best tune led zep. ever did... a masterpiece they kicked ass!! jesus christ!!! this is someting that will never ever go away!!!long live the Zep!!!!

  • Robert Plant and Jimmy Page are sure rock legends..Zeppelin can`t beat it..

  • its interesting how a listening to a song that you already know by heart can teach you more than anything else

  • OK,I'll say it"Page" will be remembered WITH the likes of Bach Beethoven and Mozart.Page's 'compositions" are INCREDIBLE>BRILLIANCE IS BRILLIANCE,no matter what era!!PEACE

  • @charger4079 yeah except that this is stolen

  • Either its me in 77 He had the same face as he did since 68 did his face change becasue of the car accident i am talking about plant

  • I wonder how often Bonzo broke his speed kings. I bet quite a bit.

  • now THATS what i call music!

  • Rock and Roll Heaven is like this except it's on a loop! No better band has EVER made music like these guys.........that's not even questionable; there really is no other band that comes close.......every song is a hit! Musicians top of their game, what can anyone really say?

  • Plant is sooo stoned!

  • nei giorni nostri c'è solo musica del cazzo

  • I have become a diehard Led head at the ripe old age of 57 ... it's NEVER to late to discover what's GREAT!!!! <3 them. (RIP Bonz' - you have no equal.)

  • this song makes me want to get high

  • Comment removed

  • Fantastic! Kind of spooky and dreamy!

  • My ears just grew more ears so I can listen to this even louder.

  • Led Zeppelin is like sex. Better probably! The music just feels like a long eargasm. Especially this song!

  • I think this is one of my favorite songs of all time..I haven't listened to music in awhile so I am getting kind of rock happy...this song is incredible.

  • i am a traveler of both time and space

  • @11fireflower you're gay jimmy paige would like your butthole

  • Zoso for life

  • It's like 4 atomic bombs that just keep blowing up on stage! HOLY FUCKING SHIT!

  • Page is playing what looks like a Danelectro. It was sold through Sears corporation, and is a great example of Yank innovation. Jimmy knew that too.

  • Comment removed

  • @liamtz I've played that exact model guitar that Page is plaing here, and I gotta say, I thought it played better than my Gibson and Fender, the lipstick pickups are really sick!

  • You know the rest of the 7th and 8th graders at my school love rap or bubblegum i told them look up led zeppelin and more than 75 percent of them like Led Zeppelin now. Greatest band in the world and nobody else can take that away from them. No body goes down harder than Zep.

  • that was the most epic 9 minutes of my life.

this version and the version played at earl's court 75 are my favorite live renditions of this song.

i wish i was born around the time to see this,

    i was born in 94 ):

  • i love that move jimmy pulls at 2:45

    zep 4 eva

  • i live and breathed Zeppelin & Pink Floyd from the age of 13 1975 still listen t them now always will best music ever made,

  • bonham is the greatest drummer of all time.

    here is stone set proof.

    its quite mindblowing.

  • 2:01

  • Was a great show till 75 Seen them in Denver before Bonzo went wacko. Jimmy said the band would go on forever unless one of them died Guess what? They still rock!!

  • 1:07-1:10 Jimmy.......:O

  • Bonham creates such a fucking nice tempo all over

they all seem having fun fuck where was I

  • I went to see Zeppelin back in 72 I think. The guy I went with had backstage passes and we smoked with Robert, Jimmy, and Jon Bonam it was the bomb

  • LED ZEPPLIN RULES ROCK !!

  • At 0:55 is that hot dog??? looks like his telecaster and JPJ seems to be on piano

  • @Matthew9444 Telecaster? I don't quite understand? The guitar Jimmy Page is playing here is a Danelectro i believe.

  • @martinxander The bootleg footage shown at 0:55 appears to be from hotdog as it looks like jimmy's telecaster and jpj is playing the piano is shown on the big screen.

Actually I just looked at it agin and it is from Hot Dog. Jimmy inserted the wrong footage or just ran out of kashmir bootleg footage

  • @Matthew9444 and message me, im obessed with bootleg footage. i know when its the 4th or 11th.

  • @Matthew9444 yes, you can see the exact screen footage on bootlegs. and at 1:50, the footage is off with the sound. its not from the second night, or a different part. same part of the son, just the footage is off.

  • @levyelizabeth No but at 0:55 JPJ is cleary on the PIANO not the synth and JP seems to be playing a brown guitar which seems to be his telecaster so that adds up to hot dog although i can't tell which night.

  • @Matthew9444 no you dont understand. 1:50 was a different part i was talking about. i know that the footage at :55 is hot dog footage, which is from the 4th, after the 2nd line in the 2nd verse.

  • @levyelizabeth right. but i wasnt talking about 1:50 at all. you just brought it up. i know that 1:50 is from the 4th as i have all the video and not just links to shadowmans videos as i see you do. i have all of knebworth in its bootleg glory.

  • @Matthew9444 yes, i brought that up. i have some requests for knebworth footage. can you upload jimmy page solo, in the evening, kashmir, and nobodys fault, but give them different names like shadowman does, so they dont get deleted. and yes, ive seen your bootlegs of knebworth, and in great quality! i can notice you are a led hed like me!

  • BEST FUCKING ZEP SONG !!

  • There is still sanity!

    Do not despair!

Look at me, I'm 16 and enjoy Zep,Buchanan, Beck, Clapton,Albert Collins, Van Halen,Mozart

The list is endless, yet they all have something in common,

    REAL MUSIC!

  • THIS IS THE KASMIR VERSION!! *_*

i mean, all the others are awesome, but this one has something more than everything

  • The 4th is much better than the 11th. I'm not saying the 11th was bad, it was OK. For example, check out Achilles Last Stand and compare the two.

This version of Kashmir is my number 1 favorite!

  • who else thinks its awesome that jimmy stomps to the beat of bonzo's bass drum?

  • @willbo1234567 I Do I Do! STOMP Bonzo STOMP!

  • @willbo1234567 i do

  • i do too!!!

  • I lived, breathed, and ate Zeppelin while growing up in the 70's. At 16 years old first concert was at Madison Square Garden 1977 LED ZEPPELIN. No other band did what they did. I still listen to them every week to get my fix! Thanks, S

  • @Skornable I was a 70's kid too. We were so lucky! Great memories!

  • @Skornable Zep is the good life!!!!!

  • @Skornable I was at that show too and it seems like I remember the song Rock and Roll, drumming the best , I was having such a great time, It just didn't last long enough........Saw them more than once though. U2?

  • This is the greatest stuff I grew up on this and still love it!

  • bonzo is such a beast drummer

  • its from the dvd i think thats the 11th footage

  • at 4:43 looks like 11th footage

  • Can someone please upload this with better sound? I love this version, but low quality sound sucks on Youtube!!

  • is this from the 2003 dvd or from another night, becuase there is another video with different parts

  • you're right. i think this is fromt he first night in knebworth, because in the las night, there were less people thant here.... so the mood wasn't like here :)

  • John Bonham. John Henry Bonham

  • Bonham is the best drummer that ever lived, 2nd would be Phil Collins, i know that i will get Charlie Watts lovers, but....sorry. EVERY ZEP melody prior to JB"s death. was all about the drum(s) Guitar and vocal back up!

  • Flawless....

  • 2.54 bonhams right foot gets me every time

  • huh?

  • who's playing bass guitar

  • nobody

jpj may be using bass pedals but im not sure if he does on this song

  • Hm. They should have taken a guest musician.

  • Someone other than Zep playing? Good god no.

That being said, I wish Jonesy had played bass. The synths in this song have always turned me off.

  • and they can also overpower the sound of jimmy's guitar

  • jpj is playing bass pedals

  • Jone's playing bass with the keyboards.

  • @JimmyPage360 or a pedal...

  • @Matthew9444 there you go. and

@Groome007 the sound quality is great.,

  • @JimmyPage360 what do you mean by there you go

i just said jpj used a pedal not his keyboard for bass

  • @Matthew9444 i mean that you're right..

  • @JimmyPage360 oh ok

  • I just say "Altkleidersammlung" ;-)

  • Damn I dont know which "Kasmir" is better...this one or Earl's Court '75!! ahh who cares there both freakin GREAT!!!

  • pages blue silk shirt was featured in that zeppelin van that toured around in 1993. The publisity van showed live clips and had mermorbilia.

  • I have this bootleg,,its epic to say the least. ^ ^

  • This song sound so fucking amazin live

  • Led Zeppelin.....my musical idol.

    'Nuff said.

  • Really awe inspiring, but what's with the button down shirts and slacks Jimmy and Bonham are wearing????

  • i try and dress for school after what jimmy is wearing every day i got 2 a catholic school

  • walk in with the 77 outfit

  • Fuckin EPIC

  • No other band can say they had the best drummer...the best bass player...the best singer...and the best guitarist. NO OTHER BAND. Led Zeppelin will always, always rule. The Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith...not even the Beatles can come close to that claim. Rock on, Zep!

  • Well, no other band except for QUEEN. Imagine if Freddie met Page before Plant did :)

Earth, face it, Brit rock pwns theplanet.

  • Irrefutable... from a Yank who couldn't agree more, expect for the Freddie Mercury thingy...

  • jimi hendrix experience?

check 'i don't live today' albert hall 1969

    also hot

  • @NOwhutIMthayin Even though I'm a life long Beatles fan who lived through the British Invasion, I have to agree that, in terms of pure talent, Zep was the best. And I think they knew it. And that's why they made the right decision not to continue after John died. The Who and The Stones had various incarnations, and they just weren't the same.

  • @MajorBlaster I was sick to my stomach when I heard Rory Gallagher had passed away...same for Keith Moon, Randy Rhodes, Roy Orbison and of course, the one and only Stevie Ray Vaughn, to name a few. As sick as I was hearing about those deaths, none compare to the dry, dizzy, empty hearted feeling I had when I heard about Bonzo. I still cannot believe that one stupid, senseless evening of over indulgent drinking could change the course of rock and roll history as much as that evening did.

  • I could not agree more, one of the single saddest deaths I have ever heard about

  • @NOwhutIMthayin Amen to that!

  • @NOwhutIMthayin Rush. (well, maybe not the best guitarist or singer)

  • Comment removed

  • @DeltaGaryGordon Black Sabbath may not have the greatest but Bill Ward, Geezer and Tony Iommi are definitely top 5 material and Ozzy is a great frontman

  • @DeltaGaryGordon nah, but Geddy Lee is one hell of a frontman, and to me is the best bassist, Alex is also one of the best guitarists

  • @NOwhutIMthayin couldn't have said it better myself

  • @NOwhutIMthayin ture! they where the best of '70 music, they totally beat Queen and Pink Floyd and The Who as '70s best band by a long shot.

  • @NOwhutIMthayin I agree 99%, Because at lest 100% for sure one of these bands can't be compared to any other. That's Pink Floyd. For me pink Floyd is so 100% unique that the only band you can compare to Pink Floyd its Pink Floyd it self ^_^

  • @RomeoMadureira ABSOLUTELY! I have been listening to Led Zeppelin for decades. I thought nothing else compare to them until I discovered PF. With PF music you have to be a bit patient to the songs length and have more appreciation to the music than lyrics. Ironically, their lyrics is as distinguished as their music.
