Actually after playing this game it doesn't make sense that Riku asks why Roxas has the keyblade. He seemed to be well aware of Roxas and his abilities to use the keyblade before when he was hunting him down.

That's a good point... might have something to do with the fact that Nomura didn't have the full story of Days worked out before KH2 came out, but of course he would have had to make sure all the scenes from KH2 go back into this game so it looks like it should all fit together. Mind you, I'm sure he'd have a pretty good explanation for it if you asked!

Actually, now I think about it probably has more to do with the fact that Riku is just desperately fighting to save his best friend, Sora, the True Keyblade Master in his eyes. Similar to the way he encountered Xion and called her a sham and her keyblade worthless. When he asks that question to Roxas he probably doesn't mean it literally...

I see where you're coming from, but based on the scenes from KH2 alone I don't really see any reason to interpret it as such.When I first played KH2 and seeing in that scene it seemed like Riku was implying "Who is this organization member and why does he have the keyblade".I guess it doesn't really matter though. I just can't help but feel that the KH2 storyline lacks cohesiveness.
