  • @pankhil2 All ear, no tabs

  • @pankhil2 It is hard to find tabs for DADGAD tunings...You mostly got to play by ear in DADGAD...

  • @HillbillyWayne88 AGREED !

  • Excellent. I've been working on this one for a long time and I'm still not there. You have definitely captured it!

  • @riptide76 Thanks it took a lot of effort to learn it !

  • You have done an amazing job... wow you must be really proud to be able to play that. Nice job man

  • @BOERDRUM Thank you, I wish I had more time to learn new songs and improve on what I know. I took me WAAAY TOOO LONG to play that one.

  • Dude!!!!! My friend gave me a CD with a bunch of Led Zeppelin songs on it.

This song was on it, but i couldnt find it for like 2 days on youtube. All i had to go on is the fact that it was an acoustic and had bongos. Thanks

    PS. great job!!!!

  • @gerlesox26 Thank you my friend! Those drums are TABLAS from India, not bongos.

  • You're good.... you just proved it!

  • @TheNorb68 Thank you very much !

  • whoa man you got that shit down perfect, that is by far the best ive seen it played. i had a large burgundy led zep tab book, ive followed it note for note and it dont sound that good.

  • Nice man! your great!! where did you get the tabs?

  • @muslimrere ALL DONE BY EAR

  • It would sound great if you played that and then jumped directly to Kashmir. Yea, that would be cool. Nice video. Nice guitar too. What is it?

  • I agree !!! I just learned KASHMIR a few weeks ago. What a great song !!!

  • It is the most difficult of page's stuff to play and your effort is great especially considering you learnt it by ear. Well Done!

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!

  • what guitar do you have? it looks nice...

  • 1996 Taylor 812C . Its a nice piece !

  • @kenjeezy11 1996 Taylor 812C . Its a nice piece !

  • you´re nearly perfect ...

    you should not ...

say such boring "here we go"

boring for any artist including "pagey" and others ...

    pagey was your teacher ............

    one time .....

    far away .....

me and myself were eleven at 1969 ....

you have to love your guitar (please...)

  • I agree.... I love my guitar... The "HERE WE GO" was because I had done no less than 30 takes iof the song before I did this one. I tool me hours to get a version that I liked. I was far from bored !!!

  • was that supposed to be a lesson or just showing off?

  • WEbe, What do you want it to be?

  • sorry *** or are you just a very very big man?

  • Good Cover

  • Thanks !

  • great

  • Thanks !

  • you are the man...awesome you can explain in a video this beutifull song please ......thanks and fuckin shit you are amazing

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!

  • Yes!

  • THANKS !!!

  • Awesome man, great job, on a great tune!!!

  • THANKS !!!

  • I really thought this tune was OPEN G, not D modal.. Nice Job though, I love your guitar's tone. It bellows, what strings are you using?

  • The sound on YT doesnt do it justice. I always use D'Addario light Phosphor Bronze. The only way to fly. Elixir doesnt have the crispy highs, martin's get too old too fast.

  • Hey man think you could post the chords that would help me out

  • I would love to but this song is very complex. I dont have the time to write it out.

  • I mean in DADGAD, sorry i wasn't clear on that

  • Tune down the low and high e strings one step, and the b down to A thats all !!!!!!!!!!

  • im a little confused with the tuning, are all 6 strings tuned down a half step, just the Ds, or just the low d?

  • Standard tuning = EADGBE. This is DADGAD

  • That was just excellent... Love that song. Just starting to learn it myself.

Dont know if your still looking for it, but heres a link to the Burt Jansch song mentioned by skyemozart ... watch?v=BX1smTey-gk

Just paste that after the link for the youtube mainpage

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!

  • not really a "how do" video

  • I never claimed it to be.

  • Very well done! Damn. I need to re-do mine now.....

That was beautiful. Never thought of playing it with a pick, but it works.

  • Thanks ! I put a lot of effort into that one. I am much better at it now but it takes a long time to get a good take to post !

  • Very nice cover. I enjoy playing this song also, your guitar sounds very much like Page's Jumbo Gibson. Another great song to learn from in this style is Bert Jansch "the First Time Ever", same tuning, very melodic. You can find it on Youtube and I have the tab if you would like. Cheers

  • Thanks I never thought my guitar sounded like a jumbo but I guess the distance from the camera, etc...I tried to find the Bert J tune but couldnt find it.

  • THANK YOU KENILEE for your kind words !!!

  • Very nice cover. I have always been a big fan of Mr. Page and his use of open tuned guitars. The musical ideas combined with the drone notes has a depth that cannot be duplicated in standard tuning. I'm impressed to hear you are working this music out yourself. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy.

  • THANK YOU KENILEE for your kind words !!!

  • best cover on youtube. very nice.

  • Thank you very much !!!

  • Ahh... the joys of redundancy. All kidding aside, Bravo another great performance! And who knew the info box could hold so much info. I esp. like the video captioning (they are still going ask for tabs).

    WOW

  • Yes indeed! JOYS OF !!! Sorry, I dont have any tabs !
