  • My name is Rosie.....

  • it's a-tissue?

  • I love that is song is about death! I love hearing kids sing it!

  • Ring around the rosie.

    A pocket full of posies.

    Ashes ashes.

    We all burn down.

  • they all from down and die from the black death with this song is suppose to be about :(

  • I cried.

  • Honestly play this in a dark room in a creepy ass house like the one from Blair witch and I'd be scared shitless

  • "hope you enjoy it"? More like hope ya dont sleep to night!

  • WHY YOU HAD TO MAKE ME POOP MY PANTS?? I JUST WASHED THESE!!!!!

  • this reminds me of slenderman for some odd reason . . .

  • are you a girl lol

  • the origin of "Ring Around the Rosie" is from the time of the black death. your all correct in that. but it is about how doctors would wear bird like masks and fill them with medicinal herbs because they thought it would keep them from getting sick. and my sisters thought i was weird for staying in the "black plague" part of the children's museum. :)

  • "Ring around the Rosie"--refers to a red mark, supposedly the first sign of the plague

"A pocket full of posies"-- refers to sachets of herbs carried to ward off infection

"Ashes, ashes" --reference to the cremation of plague victims

"We all fall down." -- The Plague was not selective in its victims; both rich and poor, young and old, succumbed.

  • i like it

  • i think my heart skipped a beat x_x

  • Could you send me this audio in an Email, my band would love to use it for an intro. =D tylerwolfenbarger2005@hotmail.com

It is the worst video ever

  • tht isnt really creepy... its creepier when the girl sounds posesed or somthing

  • I was looking for sumthing creepy........... guess i better keep looking

  • not trying to be mean or anything..but i feel like theres a pig in the backround snorting.. -_-

  • @JohnnyLProductions HAHA kind of actually...my lab was snoring

  • @jaded1317

    Awwww XD

  • "ring around the rosie"-the red circle of the bubonic plagie

"pockets full of posies"-herbs ised to try and stop the plague

    "ashes, ashes"-infected bodies were burnt

    "we all fall down"-millions died

  • @A5456Nt2 Actually, this rhyme originated from England, and the correct version is:

Ring a ring a roses (or rosy, just for the rhyme),

    a pocket full of posie,

    atishoo atishoo,

    we all fall down.

  • @TheLovstrom I didn't know that

  • That was funny Bos was just laughing about it too.

  • Comment removed

  • @0tavailable AWWWW tell her i said thank you and i'm glad she enjoys it! =)

  • @SuperBlgd Thanks. I suppose it doesn't really matter what it means, history is half legend anyway.

  • The fact that kids sing about the plague in a joyous way is the disturbing part.

  • Ugh, why are people so clueless. A simple wiki search shows that the black death interpretation is total bull, they didn't get "rings around their bodies" when they got the black death, and the song was first heard over a hundred years after the plague.

  • @SuperBlgd Could you please rephrase that? I couldn't really understand you.

  • So it's about the plague. It was never meant to be a happy song.

  • "Ring around the Rosie" refers to a red mark, supposedly the first sign of the plague.

"A pocket full of posies" refers to sachets of herbs carried to ward off infection.

"Ashes, ashes" either a reference to the cremation of plague victims or to the words said in the funeral Mass..."Ashes to ashes, dust to dust."

"We all fall down." The Plague was not selective in its victims; both rich and poor, young and old, succumbed.

  • If you used audacity, can you post a tutorial?

Ashes, ashes... we all fall down. .Ring around the Rosie... ..What do you suppose we... .Can do to fight the darkness... ..In which we drown...? ..Ring around the Rosie... …This evil thing, it knows me... ..Lost ghosts surround me. I can't. Fall. Down. ...
  • @Schizoid7loner did you want me to sing that version?

  • @jaded1317 No, unless you would like to. I just felt like posting this one version i had heard before. I thought it was pretty cool! You can sing it if you would like, but you are under no obligation.

  • @jaded1317 please do! i love this.

  • @Schizoid7loner You should make a video of you singing that.

  • @Schizoid7loner Where'd you get that from??? That's SO creepy!

  • omg creepy... plague is here

  • wow i like the laugh =D

  • best wank material ive ever had

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR not just children adults to its based off the bubonic plague or the black death

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR Acctually its about the black plage

  • Where can i download this.. and whats the picture???

  • Where did you buy that doll? I want one~~ xD

  • good song but It was almost midnight when i watched this so I couldn't look at the screen

  • bad bad bad bad bad

  • Hahahahahahhahahahha

  • this is based on the black death so its awlredy pretty damn scary

  • Haha omg thank u for this because me and my freinds wanted to make a horrror movie with ring around the rosie all creepy like this lol

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR It's not just children and it's not just any epidemic either... the nursery rhyme pertains to The Great Plauge. I'm certain others before me has already explained.

In some versions they say "Ashes, ashes", which refer to the cremation of bodies, whilst in other versions they say "Attishoo! Attishoo!" - a sneezing sound referring to an illness of sorts. But yes it isn't meant to be a happy song. Other rhymes have creepier origins... "Mary Mary, quite contrary" for example

  • :D....*presses replay over and over and over*

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR The Bubonic Plague.

  • our teacher played this for my class todaay:DD

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR actually its about the black death

Ring Around the Rosie-when people got the disese and got a ring around the bodies

Pocket Full of Posie- people would put herbs in there pocets to mask the smell of dead bodies

Ashes, Ashes- the burning of the dead bodies

We All Fall Down- people dying

so not just children but some where part of it

not trying to be a smartass or anything but juss saying

  • @TammieBieber That's exactly right. I learned of that back in 7th or 8th grade. The kids in Europe turned what the horrible images they saw into a song, to help cope with the death that sorrounded them daily.

  • Thats right very well done my friend. it probably doesnt matter much but think that you explained it exactly as i did haha

  • @TammieBieber

they also believed that the posies would clear the air of the disease

  • @TammieBieber

    Ashes Ashes?... No...

Achoo Achoo was the original and it referred to the sneezing that accompanied the disease.

I on the other hand am trying to be an intelligent mule.

  • @Zaqinabox well excuse me:) iwas juss going by what my history teacher told me.

  • Sing Hicory Dicory Doc :D

  • nice work, it really creeped me out!

  • nice creppy laugh at the end("

  • Hah nice scared my lil bros shitless

  • thats how i sing

    hahahahahahaah

  • odd that was the same way i sing ring around the rosies but with out the laugh at the end

  • Got the lyrics wrong

    Ring-a-Ring o'Rosies

    A Pocket full of Posies

    "A-tishoo! A-tishoo!"

    We all fall Down!

    ashes in the water

    ashes in the sea

    we all jump up with

    a 123

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR i thought it was about the plague? cos the ring of roses was a symbol for something and then they said that the plague/black death started with a sneeze 'atishoo, atishoo' and then the 'we all fall down' bit was meant to be that they're dead

  • im all alone in the dark in my house im super scared

  • ...holy shit. You just scared me so badly I'm crying. THANK GOD IT'S DAYTIME HERE, if it was night I would've probably had a heartattack... :'I

  • Lol that shit is soooo friggin creepy

  • Why are u all scared!!??? I'm 10 and I think this vid was boring....

  • @Pure1Awesomeness Because you are a child, because you will never understand horror as a child, you are only scared of things that pop up in your face like "AAAAAGH!".

    Wow.... how lame.

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR *Less complicated version* It's about the Bubonic Plague.

  • ring around the rosies, pockets full of posies, ashes ashes we all fall down.

red rings around sores, so much stink to cover, burn the the bodies to stop it.

    The Black Plague.

  • @MaddieSaysLickMyRAWR The song is about the years 1347-1350 in Europe when 1/3 of the population died from the black death, not of children dieing. But children could of died...

  • @ktgal44 LOL "could have"? It was 1/3 of the population. Of course children died. Not trying to be a smartass.....just sayin...... :P
