  • Well, i'll have to argue with you.the best way to tune a guitar is not with the help of the tuner.I am not a musician, but i have many musician friends. And they all say, that you have to learn to tune it by ear. That's the best way.And using a tuner doesn't help. The best way is, to listen to the sounds (preferably on another well tuned guitar, and try to achieve those notes. I mean everybody has a friend, schoolmate or relative or somebody, who they can turn to.

  • @elodsson and i disagree with that. i am not completely sure on the exact statistic... but 1 in every 1050 people are born with an inept pitch location. out of that bunch alone, 1 in every 50 have perfect pitch. out of that group... 1 in every 4 are musicians. i am a well rounded musician. i have been for many many years and there is no musician that can truly beat a tuner. electronically produced pitches and measurements beat unreliable guesses and memories of pitches 10 times out of 10.

  • This video is full of so much BS. The neck wont bend back just because there aren't strings on a guitar. Guitars aren't made, cleaned or maintained with strings on.

  • well u can tune it without a tuner if u dont have, first u gotta tight the big string just enough to make a note then u hold it down on the 5th fret and try to match the sound of the string with the string below it as u tightening it and from there on u do the same as u move down on the same 5th fret, but when u get to the 4th string down u gotta hold it on the 4th fret then move back to the 5th fret and match the sound with last skinny string.

  • i just loled when my new 4th string broke while i was tuning it.

  • I think this guy is a Beatlemaniac because I can see so many Beatles photos in the background.

  • i find it annoying re-stringing acoustics, because the little plastic thing keeps popping out haha
