this is odd. i just watched women in love the 2011 version, and that had pretty much everything in it, full frontal nudity, sex scenes, the lot. none of that was cut by youtube.

D.H. Lawrence didn't leave it to the imagination- they wouldn't have taken the video off. Too have come so far, the unexpurgated book (published in florence, 1928) being outlawed in England until 1960, only to have the film censored on youtube. I mean really, like it was worth posting the film at all, the story being about sensual surrender of woman and cutting out the event has left us with an empty chrysalis.
She probably had to cut it out unfortunately. It is such a shame that it is OK to keep violence on youtube or television, but a lovely, tasteful sex scene-God forbid!
