Some of this may be exaggerating a bit, but in my personal opinion IB sucks.. Its really not worth your high school time doing homework and reading Sparknotes till like 1 AM every day..

Partial I would recommend because can be fun but the diploma programme is just too exhausting.

Two greatest sources for IB students: Wikipedia (history, bio, TOK, etc.) and Sparknotes (english). Hooray for "BS"ing!

Hi . Im a 16 year old girl . Next year i want to start in Pre-ib but im really not sure since i have read some comments about it here!!

- I do not really get top grades , but i get middle grades.

Do you have to be REALLY smart to take IB or can i go through this or is it too hard ? what do you think? Please answer

@LuvLoveStories currently i am in IB in the 11th grade. my language teacher is crazy and loads our class with work. Dec. 3 and 4 i went to sleep around 1 or 2 Am working through out the whole day. i had good grades and still try to but I do not sleep well, i am always tired and it is exhausting. Monster, Red Bull, and gatorade will push you through it. i personally dont recommend it but i wish you the best of luck

@LuvLoveStories Most of what you read about the IB around here is heavily exaggerated.. Yes, it is hard, but it is overcomeable. You don't need perfect grades and be a genius to take the IB, but you should be motivated to work some. Also be sure you choose the right kinds of subjects, that you both find somewhat interesting and are ready to work with. Don't choose Math HL if you don't like math.. I'm in my second year of the IB right now, so I know from experience.. Good luck ^^

@Diamixen I am also an IB student from Sweden, we do have it and even if we get different grades they still teach it along other programs in normal schools so...

Btw @Danish Eagle how can you have been an IB student and still use 'a' in front of IB? xD

@Diamixen Haha, it's called the IB at least all the times I've ever heard of it... It's not very common a program though so if you live in a smaller town you might not have it. I did my IB program in Borås, but there are a few in Gothenburg and in Stockholm. I don't remember the other ones right now but I think the total in Sweden are around 20-25 :)

@ajayalmighty Actually, I'm still in IB. And take 4 HLs. But, in IB we get so few 'fun' things to do, and complaining about IB is one of them. :D Last time I heard somebody say college was harder than IB, he turned out to be a cerificate candidate that did two HLs-english and art. :)
