You have one BEAUTIFUL aircraft, and I'm sure it's quite expensive to maintain as well. The MU-2s, in my opinion, are probably the most appealing AND utilitarian aircraft ever built. It's awesome that you fly your flights solo when the plane itself is considered safer to operate with a two-man crew. Lots of training and air time paid off in your favor! Keep up the great flying! :)
Cool plane. Been flying RC planes for a long time. Maybe someday I will fly the real thing :-). You might also want to pick up a Bogan Super Clamp with a tripod adaptor. Get that on the net or professional camera stores. That clamp is used a lot in the photo business. Your idea was good too. Nice videos.
cool you have my dream on your hands you must be one of the happiest men alive!!!awesome video btw if you dont mind how much does it cost to support a plane like this???
Great video! Looks like you really put some effort into filming. I have been looking for a cable to record audio direct into camera and actually just ordered one from Barnstormer Audio. I was just curious what you used.
I have a digital audio recorder that I plug into the headset via an adapter. The Bose headsets do not have a built in aux input so I had to buy one from Pilot Mall
Greg - Thank you for taking an effort and sharing all these wonderful videos. I am looking to buy a MU2 here in Brazil this year, and whom knows..... Nothing else but I see a lot of training up in the states first.
Many here. Not a problem to import them as Gov encourages aviation here.
I live 500 m off to the side of the flight path here, or about 500m where TAM crashed a year ago. Search "Pouso em Congonhas sob Condições Adversas" as this is an MU2 flying IFR.
I Still remember first ride in one from Jefco (Colorado) back in about 69, from to Breckenridge which was a mine dump strip with a rich friend. Pressure fuel system remember well.
When landing the plane, it was rare to get a squeaker so I would typically roll it on with that usual "Ka-Chunk" on the runway. The short version was even more dramatic. The AC 690 had a more natural feel and not as much dutch roll at altitude. Does yours have a yaw dampner?
Great job, as all your videos, Greg. Suggest you do more intercom narration on cockpit and MU-2 specific stuff like starting the Garretts, setting takeoff power, V speeds, and the like.
Can't understand half of what they say. Other than that, I love the video.

I want to do the Bahamas trip some day, but for now its just the Florida skies!
I will fly from Ft Pierce next month.....can't wait!
Great way to attach your video camera! Our cam is hand held and I guess that makes it a little more amateur-like...
Have a great day

William-I think there are several MU-2's in Brazil. They are great airplanes!

GM, I have been watching your vids for well over a year. Amazing stuff there.
I cut my teeth on the G version back in 1979 flying all night long as a freight dog.
Thanks again for these great vids of the Mitz.

I agree with you. I think I overmodulated the com a bit. I'll get it dialed in on the next video.
