What is wrong with people. There is so much hatred is some of the postings. It is ironic. So many people who do not belive in God will call his name when they are in trouble. It's so great to know that he is a forgiving God.
They call his name because in spite of their lack of true belief, they've been socialized to resort to the crutch when they get into a mess. e.g. prison, life threatening situation, cancer, impending death, etc. It's not that they really believe, it's just due to other people using the power of this countries overwhelming religiocity to unduly influence them.

Tammy wanted to show the world that there were many faces of christianity not just a douty one. She liked being done up and what she considered fancy. I first met Tammy at TBN in Los Angeles when I was a volunteer phone operator during my teens. She was lovely, vivacious, kind and full of enthusiasm for serving God. She made you feel very special and unique whenever she spoke with you. I've watched her career over the years, and she has never lost her faith or her enthusiasm for the Lord despite all the trials she has endured. She has always had class and courage and died a champion of faith.
I feel deep sorrow for her. Cancer is very deadly and the toll it takes on the body is imeanse. I cant say im a firm bel;iveer in the perceptioon of what god is to christians, however if there was a god and you take a person like Tammy fay who has been by his side. Why would god put his own children trhough such torment and anguish. She was like 86 pounds on larry Kings show. I hope her soul is in a better place free from pain.

Christ taught that we are all god's children, and that it is not ours to judge one another, thus Tammy is a nearly perfect example of Christian values.
You are living proof that Christians are some of the first people to judge others. You should be ashamed of yourself and this is coming from a Christian. It's not our place to judge others. That is God's job.

Perhaps you are correct that I have judged her a poor representative of Christ by her appearance. As it says in 1 Samuel 16:7, "...for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart."
Besides all this, this idea that we are not supposed to judge is not grounded in the Bible. But that's another story.

My mother used to watch Jimmy & Tammy a lot back in the eighties when we used to live in the States. Tammy is a cute lady & but she wears a disgusting amount of make up which is not very appealing to represent Christianity.
