hyperformance hell yea i loves yall's shop can you tell me how much it will cost for the same swap on an s13 coupe the motor is alreay out it had the single cam in it so yea
can you guys give me any info on the engine mounts you used? im in the middle of a similiar swap and the shop nearsest to me wants 1100 for a set. can you help me out?
We fabbed our own mounts from scratch. Keep watching the video there is a lot of info on the mounts in it.
If you can't fabricate your own mounts you might try some other shops for a cheaper quote. A shop that deals with mostly domestic cars or circle track cars will be much less expensive.
Do you know anything on the cadillac 4.9? I have one of those lying around waiting for a swap, what should I do about the oil pan? Can I somehow convert to a nova pan?
Building/Rebuilding a custom oil pan would definitely be an option. But I think cutting the crossmember is much easier. And I would hate to sacrifice oil capacity.
We tried building an oil pan on my first v8 car but decided it was too difficult. A lot of oil pans are coated with zinc which gives off toxic fumes when you try to weld it. And the metal is soo thin you really need a tig welder which I don't have.
On my first car we ended up going to a dry sump oil system!
All of us in the video are located in Fort Worth Texas. I don't think anyone is doing this swap commercially. But you might contact Chris at Bailey's Hyperformance Factory to see if he is interested.
At like 3:50 I thought he just picked up the engine with one hand, I was like wow, don't mess with him. Ha. Fantastic Build.

Great job on the V8 swap! And for those of us without a shop, conversion kits are the way to go.

of course oil is a must but you could make it like the greddy one for the sr20 were it has like a wing type design that would be sweet

did u cut up any thing in da fire wall
and do u have power steering

Yes we did cut the firewall. But it is possible to do it without cutting it. We did not use power steering but it wouldn't have been hard to add.
