Lol. Ok. heyscuba is the master of this game, and there would be no point to attaching two more strings.....it would simply lift the ring up causing an unnatural looking bend in the rope that the ring is hanging from.

When he pulls the ring off the hook he is also pulling it into sunlight. Verified by the shadows in the frame. The bright sunlight reflecting off of the metal ring overloads the digital sensor in his camera causing two vertical lines where the reflections are brightest. It is not fishing line etc.

I did see what looked like two other lines, but why bother making such an elaborate hoax for an outside video.

More likely, he just practiced a lot....or just videotaped himself trying several times until he got it right.

I'd like to see him do it a few times in a row.

I was actually arguing against the conspiracy theory.

I think what makes people look for a trick is that your other videos are often about tricks.

But yeah, it's just a simple ring toss game people (thus just a simple video). After practicing a good bit, Scuba is simply good at it.

Check out Scuba's other videos for neat tricks. I did the tape measure thing last night to entertain my guests at my Christmas party.

OK,OK,... I watched it again,... those are not strings,.. those are reflections off the shiny ring,... if they were strings you'd see them again later in the vid,... you are all "off the hook' so to speak,...

Of-course everyone saw the "strings": They are meant to be there.

Those fishing wire/lines are to hold the ring at a focused direction so when it lands on the hook it actually catches and doesn't get knocked off because the thing is spinning round wildly. And perhaps, although hard to tell, they help the main rope holding the ring to give a slight 'see-saw' effect, stabilizing it even more but still making it hard to play.

...But very satisfying when you get it right!

look so tight? Wouldnt they need to be loose to go back and forth? Also if they were strings tightened the ring would go up instead of down and the real string would dangle. No string just reflections

well from about 3 seconds in to about 5 or 6 you can see two white lines which look like fishing wire attached to the ring, but they do dissapear later and im not sure how they let the ring move in a smooth circle, ah doesnt matter, nice game
