  • as a tenor singing this piece now, i have to say that the tenors nailed it. could have used more alto though.

  • Pitch.......... Killing me.

  • I LOOOOOOVE this song, and i thoroughly enjoyed performing it with my choir. The only thing is that sometimes some choirs sound like they're saying "Danielle"... (not this one!) from what I remember we pronounced it like "Dani-ull"... All the same, a riveting performance that I thoroughly enjoyed!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! Oh I miss being in choir...

  • Yeah - I left another Post on the other Video cover of this song.

This is a really good group. The director is interpreting well.

(Personally, I've never liked the slower "to lock the lions jaws" but that's just my preference)

Anyway - I've listened to a lot of groups this evening, and this is my fav on this song.

I'd LOVE to hear you on some Grainger, or maybe even some Verbum CFE, etc.

  • I was a student of Undine Moore and I happen to know that she intended for the 'lock the lion's jaws' to be slow and dramatic. There are other interpretative issues in this and other performances but I'm just excited to hear people performing her music.

  • LOVE this song. Great job.
