  • jindo dog!!

  • Are Jindos good for first time owners?

  • @jedole Not sure, I wouldn't think so. They are smart and loyal, but also stubborn and really difficult to train

  • @TheRohBoat Yeah I did some research and I definitely don't think I (first time owner) would be able to best take care of a Jindo... Thank you for the reply! :)

  • @jedole lol jindo dogs are really smart i am south korean so i should know and they dont eat a lot they eat portions and save the food for later and they dont run away from home they come back and they are good at hunting

  • :(

I remember my white jindo would occasionally jump our fence and go wander around....

    Very early in the morning..

She always madde her way back XDDDD

  • I like your jindo

  • How do u train them, espacially not to bite?

  • @mkillersuckzpussy What do you mean? I guess it depends on the age. Puppies are teething and during the first two years they might nip but you should stop them from doing so by just correcting them with a firm no. It's like training any other dog except that jindos can be a tad bit stubborn. :P

  • @mkillersuckzpussy a great way to train any dog not to bite is never EVER let their teeth touch your skin in play, always have a dog toy in hand. And if they ever do touch their teeth to your skin, stop play immediately and get up and walk away for about 30 seconds. Then get your toy and go back to playing!

  • when my dad comes home my do goes berserk holy shit shes a moltise and she run around the couch like 5 times and jumps up on the back of the couch and starts like breathing really hard and barking its halairius

  • What a beautiful Jindo dog!

  • My Jindo passed away about 3 months ago and this video reminds me of him so much and brings tear in my eyes. RIP Rocky and I will see you again when I get there.

  • wow!! shes so intelligent. She knew what you wanted when you said "Wheres your rope" Wow!! Amazing :))

  • just like my jindo. shes one of the best dogs i ever had. so glad i rescued her. CALI

  • teach korean, make bilingual

  • that dog look like a pokemon...can remember which one

  • im soo lucky i have a jindo and live in the us

  • how in the hell did you get this? i heard it's almost impossible to get if you're a foreigner. even koreans don't get that many good breeds.

  • awesome dog! So pretty

  • Do Jindos shed a lot? I had a German Shepard dog, and he was a great dog, but he shed a lot.

  • @mrshinyshoes They shed a lot during and after the winter season...

  • @mrshinyshoes Oh my gosh yes. Sheds like crazy when they dump their winter coat. It comes out in clumps for about 2-3 weeks.

  • its my first time seeing one, i've only red a comment abt it while searching for a shiba inu..

    she's.................. HOT !!! lol

  • i want a jindo dog!!! they're awesome!

  • aha my jindo just wags his tail and shows his butt to be scratched! XD

  • how much does a dog like this cost?

  • Also..he is a bit lazy lol, but is great with cats and all animals..such a sweet heart but is protective of me for sure! My guy wont eat when he stays at new place without me for days. They are fiercely loyal and my guy is only half!

  • I have a jindo/corgie mix but his loyalty is total Jindo..never had such a dog.I was in the Army and brought him back from Korea with me. He has head and face of a jindo, but height between the two. he is long like a corgi. (tail and coat of the Jindo). so he is smaller and great inside dog. He is so freaking smart though. Had dogs my entire life and he is by far the most unique and loyal!

  • gosh your so good with dogs. almost like a professional trainer

  • I have a Jindo and she kind of acts like a cat, because she'll just be lazy and sleep all day, and act like she doesn't care about what's happening. xD

But she's actually really affectionate and sweet. I love her to death. :'3

  • there is a sad story about jindo.

one jindo lived with a family.

mother always gave feed to jindo. but unfortunely mother passed away by cancer.

and after funerl father and kids gave feed to jindo. but jindo didn't eat.

after few days... jindo died too. jindo have strong loyalty. so be careful.

  • I Love Jindo Dogs >:3 Well I've tried looking in places in America where there are alot of Korean people :P The Jindo Dog Origins from South Korea (Where I came from) So they should be around somewhere o3o

  • dude cool dog, if you don't mind me asking where did u get her from? my gf and i are looking to get a jindo and ur's looks so precious in white. thanks!

  • What a beauty! And soooo playful.

  • Awwwww... I really want a Jindo :') So cute.

  • i got one for free... hahaha i love my jindo dog, gaull

  • what a nice dog, i wish i had one !

  • jindos are too smart. they need a lot of care :)

  • lovely jindoo shes so pretty and pure xD you are very lucky!

  • My friend Katelyn used to have a Jindo, such an awesome Dog, one of these days I'm getting one too!

  • Adorable.. the Jindo dog is Korean natural monument number 53

  • So pretty! I want one...

  • my grandma had a jindo dog. Actually my great grandma took care of him. We got him when he was a little puppy.

  • You guys are really good with her. I've had jindos my entire life.. Currently have two white ones, male and female. I am so familiar with her natural desire to just play and go crazy with her energy. It's so nice to see that you are training her and she knows who her owner is. They're really tough to train, but definitely very loyal and love to hunt. Haha :)

  • jindo's are so smart!

  • YOU ARE A ROBOT!

  • Very loving and beautiful dog. She deserves a wonderful guardian in return.

  • you are a very effective master

  • chalebmanurung@live.com

  • yeah go Korean breed dogs!

  • Jindo is also very royal to its first owner, there are many stories, when they're sold, they escape to search its first owner, traveling long distance

  • Wow...what an absolutely gorgeous dog...

  • wow Gorgeous Jindo!

My Jindo just died a few months ago, we had him for 14 years!

I can see similar character in your dog!

    Jindo's are the Best!

  • awwwww!!!!!! i want a jindo!!!!!

  • In my opinion, Jindo dogs are the best dogs in the world. I had one when I lived in Korea and I miss him terribly after all these years. He was my best friend. We would go for walks together and when I sat on the steps, he would sit next to me and lean against me. When I finally have a house with enough room, I will rescue one here in America.

  • im so happy that I actually have a jindo because I can't resist the cuteness from your dog hahaha my jindo looks just like yours.

  • thats really cute..

  • Wow. Real JINDO DOG.

You guys have Jindo Dog!! So lucky.

It's so expensive, and so precious. even in Korea.

Jindo dog's advantage is his/her loyalty and smart.

If any owner lost his Jindo dog in very very far place, Jindo Dog come back to his/her owner, no matter what it pass long time.

yeah~ they have homing instinct to master.

and Jindo Dog will save her master in fire, earthquake, and some dangerous situation, and something like that.

They(jindo dog) have a lot of News, Stories..

  • @weri98 Check korean animal shelters, there are quite a few to choose from. They are not all pure pure pure but then who determines what pure is?

  • How much does she weigh? Kinda hard to tell how big she is from the vid.

  • Omg! So adorable!! And she's so smart, too... she brought the rope when you said, "Rope!"

  • Korean Jindo's are one of the most loyal and smartest dogs you'll ever experience...super super smart...super loyal too...they'll die for their master...

  • she's beautiful~

  • I want one shes sooo beautiful 8DD i just want to pet her soo badly X3

  • Now that's a really happy dog.

  • Sooooo adorable and clever!!! Amazed when she responded the word "rope".

  • how old is she now??

  • beautiful puppy. amazing ^^ i want one

  • she's so pretty.

  • Thats an awesome dog

  • i can't believe that she could fit through that little crack in the door.

  • 2:45 "good boy, mikaaa!" SHES A GIRL

  • she is so adorable.

  • shes sooooooo happpyyyy > <

  • Very Cute Dog....

  • She is exactly like my Jindo only white LOL very nice dog. White Jindos are so beautiful.

  • .. we were all invited to dinner at my boss' house, but I was unavailable. My co-worker told me that the boss told them that they were serving 'duck'. Yada yada yada... our boss ended up telling her at the end of the night that the duck's name was 'dog'. It was all a big dirty trick. Koreans do this all of the time to people. They are sick. This was in Yongin, Korea. Some people in Korea will trick you into eating it. They want to see if you will like it or not. It's a really nasty trick.

  • Jindo is one of the finest specimens.

So loyal, sporty, brave, smart, fierce, etc etc etc.

I want one! where do i adopt one in the US?

  • Chinese eat dogs more than any other countries.

Majority of people suffer from poverty when the government and the upper class people enjoy their lives with money accumulating from their wealth.

Chinese eat dogs much more and often than any other countries.

  • Japanese eat dogs, cats, monkeys' brains, whales and unfortunately human beings as well.

Japanese are known as the cannibals during the war period and some still do.

The controversial stories of Japanese eating people alive are captured in some of the documentary films about Japanese.

But Japanese don't seem to admit their war crimes but instead put on a smile to hide their sneaky and dirty minds.

    Very typical of Japanese

  • u seem to be missing a tooth sir, but amazingly nice dog!

  • smart and so friendly.

  • man.. what a wonderful dog. Good job training it.

  • my jindo looks identical to yours (other than the fact that mine's male)

as mrnightowl mentioned earlier, its amazing to see how the mannerisms are perfectly identical!

great dogs, very fun, and really good looking!

  • @tatarioyaji3 you are stupid

  • @tatarioyaji3 Japenis always so jealous

  • @aey20 Please get your facts straight, Jindo's are a national treasure in Korea, there is no reason for them to eat them.

  • @LittleMasterEm Do Koreans eat Dogs at all?

  • @aey20 very much so.. it is a cultural tradition for them but the manner in which they kill the dogs is inhumane and unreasonable because they believe that the more the dog suffers the better its meat tastes... something to do with testosterone levels in the meat.. hope that helped

  • @jtmcd0808 WTF!!!! either your very racist against Koreans or if this is true then that is very sad

  • @aey20 search korean fur trade on youtube and you should get a couple hits.. it is very true unfortunately, about 2 million cats and dogs are killed each year in China and Korea for their meat and fur. The world is a very messes up place and many people don't even know what's happening. The sad thing is some of the dogs are lost pets or stolen pets even.

  • @aey20 Maybe back when there no technology of today and people fought each other with swords and arrows. In other words, in ancient times.

  • Lol my korean name is Jindo.

  • Hi, I just recently got a Black Jindo puppy and was wondering, when do I start training him to do stuff?

  • aren't jindos really hard to train??

  • were did u get him

  • I have a Jindo mix that I got from a pound. I seen my dogs mom and she looked just like your dog. Its funny how the mannerisms are the same. My dog uses his paws a lot. Has the same posture as yours. Great video thanks for the upload!

  • korean...

  • Very cute dog :)

  • is she a pure bred

  • I love her look <3 They shed a lot though huh?

  • Jindo Dog is very smart.. SO CUTE :D

  • how much does she weigh? i have a 7 month old girl jindo and she's tiny compared to ppoppy

  • what a lovely family =) !

  • she is soooo beautiful!

  • how often do you wash a Jindo breed? Do you wash them in warm or cold water??

  • how often do you wash a Jindo breed? Do you wash them in warm or cold water??

  • Such a beautiful and smart animal :)

  • jindo dogs are very smart

  • Are these the one's they hang and beat to death in Korea? THey also skin them ALIVE.

  • @TheBrassHole More Americans eat bull testicles and squirrel pie than they do dogs in Korea Jethro.

  • @melonbarmonster Never said anything about eating anything... So you beat dogs huh... You skin them alive too? I know you don't kill them first.

  • A beautiful dog, very well trained as well. I'm really thinking of getting a Jindo or Siberian Husky.

  • @PepsiiiTwiSt Me too! Im leaning more towards a jindo though so when I go out to run if someone puts a hand on me then the dog will take that hand clear off.

  • @MrBallinJr Lol not to mention an untrained Jindo will drive off anyone from ever coming near you.

How cool is it that Jindos and Huskies are so similar in appearance but with completely opposite personality.

Jindos are loyal to their owners, Huskies are not. Jindos will never leave their owners, Huskies will run if let loose. Jindos does not welcome strangers well, Huskies treat them like best friends.

I wonder if Jindo-Husky mix are both Loyal to their owner and Friendly to strangers @_@

  • Does anyone know where you can get a jindo in canada? if not is it possible to adopt or buy one frum the us?

  • wow that is by far the sexiest looking dog i have ever seen...sexiest jindo atleast.

  • OHMY ! It's Bolt ! <3 Give it a lightning tattoo ! LOL

  • how did you manage to teach your dog to sit and just wait for your command on your arrival? normally, my jindo just bites me because he thinks it's some kind of game...

  • she looks like bolt

  • Jinso dog is not for everyone...they are agressive toward other dogs other people.

  • i have a question, i thought most jindo dogs are suppose to be ALMOST the same size? my jindo is kinda small compared to yours and his ears are not pointed up STRAIGHT. i think one of his ears is and the other one slants and his tail curls up

  • lindsaymarkmomdad

  • Jindo is fukin smart dog ever

  • look at the lovely tail and ears! She's so adorable!! You are lucky to have jindo!

  • Jindo dogs are from Jindo, or the Jin Isle. There are a lot of Jindo dogs in Jeju but they did not originate from Jeju. I can't believe what I'm reading sometimes, jeez.

  • Jindo is not for everyone...it accepts only one master and is not sociable.

  • One more thing to note in the vid...notice how HE(human) won the tug o war game...you never want to let the dog win...it causes them to think they are more powerful and then will more aggressively play or defend items

  • Isn't it awesome how soft Jindos fur is. Any one who mistakes these for Husky's just need to touch a Jindo and feel the difference. Husky hair is very course(which makes sense considering what they were bred to do).

  • aww hahaha thats so pretty pure white. i have a jindo its light brown

  • aww hahaha thats so pretty xP pure white. i have a jindo its light brown and dark brown on the paws haha .. your jindo seems pretty gentle

  • Looks like a friendly dog!

  • I love to see well trained Jindo dogs. thanks for the wonderful video. ^*

  • I want a Jindo cause I'm Korean too :D

  • How did you teach her what a rope was and to bring that specific thing to you?

  • The first several times we gave her first rope to her, we said "Rope!" She made the association within a few minutes and then we reinforced it whenever she played with it. Jindos seem to learn commands so quickly. It's amazing to watch.

  • It is so refreshing to see someone who does not blatantly encourage bad behavior from a dog on youtube. That's not to say you can't have fun but think of the irony when you praise the dog for jumping on you when you come home but scold them when they do it to strangers. Thanks for posting this as I love Jindos and this shows any dog is trainable.

  • lol. i love how she goes in and out the door haha. cute!

  • Jindo dog was originally hunting dog and working dog

  • jindo's are sooo crazy lol love em

  • Id never seen a dog die of old age though.. or a decease or something.. would love to see if you will have a video footage of that as well.

  • my dog would jump on me and pee from all the exitment ON ME XD one time my cousin carried her and she peed on his new shirt lol

  • how old is she/he in this video?

  • She was about two years old when this video was taken.

  • She was about two.

  • how old is she/he?

  • a handsome royal dog...want to have a dog like yours...

  • I've read about Jindo dog as military dog. Despite of searching and guarding abilities. Jindo dogs are NOT commonly used as militay dog due to their very exclusive character. Since military dogs r gov properties, they oughtta to receive orders from plular handers though. When Jindo dogs handlers get dismissed from the duty or transfered to somewhere else they often refuse to receive orders from new handlers. Yes..it seems very sweet..but its definately not a desirable character for K-9 dog.

  • The Jindo dog is 53rd National Monument of ROK though, I never knew they r prohibited to export.. then juss go for Shibainu instead. They're also spitz type dog. Looks quite similar to Jindo dog, but only much smaller which might be a huge adventage if u r planning to raise a dog inside house. Most importantly, since Shibainu is very popular breed in the states, they r easy to be found so u dont nd to messing with all the paper works and spending extra money and time to import a dog =)

  • Actually, Korean GOV prohibit the sale of overseas country for protecting species of Jindo Dog as like China GOV does that to Panda.

  • Jindos are extremely intelligent and need to be hyper socialized. As long as you expose them to people and other animals at an early age, they are the sweetest and friendliest dogs ever!!!

  • 진짜임 ? 외국에서 진돗개를 살 수 있나 ?

    검증서도 있으실듯 ?

  • and also, if u live outside jeju island, 9 times out of 10, it won't be pure breed. even in mainland korea jindos are hard to come by

  • are we talking about jeju dog or jindo dog? Why would jindo ever come from Jeju?

  • jindo dogs come from jeju island... look up wikipedia

  • Comment removed

  • Jindo dogs come from Jindo Island

  • @killerz1112 No, actually they are from an Island called Jindo, and that's why they are called Jindo dogs.

  • @wowspare No way, they have their own breeds in Jeju Island. They(Jeju Dogs) are also as smart as Jindo and axcellent hunting dogs. Only breed that can hunt large animals(Boars,Deers, Bears and even known to hunt down a Tiger) on there own without human help.

  • @asitmc U are absolutely right!!!!

  • jindos are hunting dogs.....

unless you live in the suburbs i seriously discourage u to own a jindo. its not good for their mental health

  • I want one.. I felt in love with this breed! If you are outside of South Korea is hard to get one? Whats its price?

  • @lilith2014 It can cost up to $100,000 US depending on purity.

  • @johnyoo71 Well that's good to know now! I had a purebreed and he was the best dog I ever had! A Korean couple bred their Jindoes and gave a select few free pups. I was very lucky!!! They're wild, but very very loyal to their master. He had alot of cat-like qualities and was an excellent guard dog and hunter!!!

  • that is a beautiful dog, very beautiful. i bet these are to find.

  • oo...beautiful doogie

  • I've seen that Jindo dogs can be very brutal. I've seen them only be loyal to a few people, and they may attack others they don't know or respect. Not bashing them, that's just what I've seen.

  • Any dogs can be brutal whatever their breeds are. It really depends on early socialization that dogs receive or lack there of. Traditionally Jindos were not bred to be in-house pets but to be hunters in Korea and may have more feral qualities than western dogs. However, Jindos can easily overcome it if they are socialized properly. So eventually it really depends on owners.

Also, Jindos can learn to like other people, too. It may take an hour rather than 20 minutes but give them a chance.
