Guys about the real steel mg42 it jams quite a bit if not maintained (like any firearm) but when you are firing that fast on a belt fed weapon jams happen all the time, any lmg or saw will jam eventually and clearing jams are not too bad unless something goes bad and the whole feed mech won't move

@Austenzo Less. The mass of a BB is considerably smaller than a paintball's. It does still sting like a bitch if they get you on naked skin, of course depending on distance.

@MachiavelliSS those metal pelles are another kind of gun which can kill people. these are airsoft guns that shoot plastic bbs and some of them use CO2. And they hurt more than Paintball

@unboxingguru1 Co2 primary weapons can get expensive and don't have a very large magazine capacity, plus electric guns cost less to maintain, and you don't have to buy a lot of Co2 cartridges.

Hey, I've got a Thompson M1A1 too. It shoots incredibly well. It just really doesn't like .12 bbs... It shatters them and then jams the barrel.

Computer games deliver a poor understanding of how combat is in reality, but I think it's that it's this exact image people are setting for themself, how they do it in BF3 or MW3 ect - and that's how pro's are - not. Thank you Axz92 for correcting me. but there is also flaw in ure correction. the only m14's that had full auto features where the original models. after a while they realized" wow that is a waste money and material for such an innacurate unhelpful function" so realizing their mistake all models produced from there on out did not feature a full auto function. and i actually have researched the m14. it is one of my favorite 7.62's out there right before the AK-47 and Browning m1919a4, and right

Many M14s were modified during Vietnam to have the full auto capability locked off, but they were still built with it.

My team mates got one and I think its only so-so. nothing special. if u seek full metal ones i suggest go for an A&K ones which are more solid in terms of built quality. Only go for a JG when you plan on upgrading the whole gun in the end.

Dude if u read the facts on the m14, it has full auto capability which is why its called a battle rifle just like the FN FAL and HK G3. The only reason why full it was often used in semi auto is cuz m14 is uncontrollable in full auto due to its large 7.62x51 caliber. This is the one of the reason US army decided to adopt m16. do some more research mate.
