I have never been a huge MC fan, much of that has to do with Vince Neil. I simply hate his voice. This, however, rocks. They shoulda kept this dude, and changed the name of the group.

this whole album rips! why wasn't the album or tour successful?? the new singer, that's why. kinda sucks that john got a bad wrap for this. that new hard edge they had was great, but he wasn't vince. I read somewhere that @ the end of that tour(was cut short) it was costing nikki 75k a show to keep it running,out of pocket. John Corabi actually made Motley Crue worth listening to. I really liked the stuff they put out with him. Before that Motley Crue was just one of hundreds of worthless hair metal pop bands that I didn't like at all. Vince Neil is useless.

Yes, Tommy's Drums are so tight on this Record/CD, you get to here how Very very good he is, unlike on all that "girls girls girls" crap they usually play, hell you get to here Sixx and Mars higher quaitys also on this...and the most sorry thing is ...this gets ZERO...NIL...ZILCH... airplay, so next to no one really knows about it, but the few hardcores among us....Sigh!!.
Well every crue fan got this of course, or at least listened to it. Many of whom came to the conclusion that they didn't like it, because it's totally different from the glamrock they produced prior to this.
But can you expect musicians to stay in the same thing they have always been in? I don't think so. This album is great imo.
John Corabi is an amazing vocalist and we all know how tough it is to succeed as the replacement for the singer most fans know the band to have look at Dio with Sabbath, Sammy with VH, John Bush with Anthrax just to name a few.
It's tough to follow a legend and Vince is a legend but it in no way denegrates Corabi's talent.
I thought he gave Crue a harder edgedE metal and I'll say Tommy's drums were amazingly thunderous in this song.

If you can find this CD anywhere, It's worth getting....all the songs on it are very good!!!!, I've NEVER bought a Motley crue CD before in my life...[liked them sure], But heard this and had to have it.
I've seen John Corabi live. And I've seen Motley w/ Vince live. IMNSHO, Vince can't hold Corabi's jock. John Corabi has more power, range and versatility in his voice. But I must agree that Motley will always be Vince, Tommy, Nikki and Mick. The mistake they made was continuing to call the band Motley Crue. A different name and I think the CD gets accepted much better. The hardcore Crue fans don't want to hear anyone but Vince sing. I enjoy Vince with Motley and I enjoy Crabby as well.

From the crunch of the guitars of the first song off this album, "Power to the Music", you knew you were going to be in for one hell of a ride. This album is amazing, beginning to end, with this song probably being one of the weaker songs.
Hell, ALL of the songs without Vicnce are good. That album is, by far, the best in the Motly catalog, and really, it doesnt' belong there. They should have called themselves by another name.
Crab'sa better vocalist than Vince, hands down, and with Crab in the band, the Crue rocked. Period. Live, Vince just can't cut it. He cuts off verses, only sings part of the lyrics. He's a studio creation. But Crab is the genuine article all around!

Yep, great track from what many have noted-a sadly underrated record from the Crue. This one had some of their strongest tunes in years. The band was killer live with Corabi too when I saw them.

I always loved the crue. When this album came out this was the first single. I loved the whole album. I agree with pas. I went to see them on this tour and met Tommy And John. One of the best memories of my life!!
I bet if this song was released today, without anyone knowing who it was, without all the baggage Vince left, and all that controvery with the band, the split, and the division of the fans at the time. I think this song would rocket to the top, even today, it stands alone as an awesome piece of work that never got the recognition it deserves, the whole album
Say what you want...but this song kicks some serious ass! I can't believe that it didn't really do that well here in North America, it was close to the tops in Japan, and I will go even further and say this is one of their best pieces of work.
This album was definately underrated. There are a lot of amazing songs on it. I love Vince, but I too wonder if the Crue continued with John, what they would of became

this whole album rips! why wasn't the album or tour successful?? the new singer, that's why. kinda sucks that john got a bad wrap for this. that new hard edge they had was great, but he wasn't vince. I read somewhere that @ the end of that tour(was cut short) it was costing nikki 75k a show to keep it running,out of pocket. Yes, Tommy's Drums are so tight on this Record/CD, you get to here how Very very good he is, unlike on all that "girls girls girls" crap they usually play, hell you get to here Sixx and Mars higher quaitys also on this...and the most sorry thing is ...this gets ZERO...NIL...ZILCH... airplay, so next to no one really knows about it, but the few hardcores among us....Sigh!!.

John Corabi is an amazing vocalist and we all know how tough it is to succeed as the replacement for the singer most fans know the band to have look at Dio with Sabbath, Sammy with VH, John Bush with Anthrax just to name a few.
It's tough to follow a legend and Vince is a legend but it in no way denegrates Corabi's talent.
I thought he gave Crue a harder edgedE metal and I'll say Tommy's drums were amazingly thunderous in this song.

I've seen John Corabi live. And I've seen Motley w/ Vince live. IMNSHO, Vince can't hold Corabi's jock. John Corabi has more power, range and versatility in his voice. But I must agree that Motley will always be Vince, Tommy, Nikki and Mick. The mistake they made was continuing to call the band Motley Crue. A different name and I think the CD gets accepted much better. The hardcore Crue fans don't want to hear anyone but Vince sing. I enjoy Vince with Motley and I enjoy Crabby as well.

From the crunch of the guitars of the first song off this album, "Power to the Music", you knew you were going to be in for one hell of a ride. This album is amazing, beginning to end, with this song probably being one of the weaker songs.

Hell, ALL of the songs without Vicnce are good. That album is, by far, the best in the Motly catalog, and really, it doesnt' belong there. They should have called themselves by another name.
Crab'sa better vocalist than Vince, hands down, and with Crab in the band, the Crue rocked. Period. Live, Vince just can't cut it. He cuts off verses, only sings part of the lyrics. He's a studio creation. But Crab is the genuine article all around!

i would have loved to have seen this song with vince neil instead of corabi. just to see how he would belt it out. vince neil was the real deal. corabi was good and all, but its just not the crue without Vince, Nikki, Tommy, and Mick.

No, this song was definitely not meant for Vince. I would not have minded hearing Vince sing it decades ago, but by the 90's his voice was just not the same.
Shout At The Devil and Motley Crue (Corabi era) were my favorite albums from them.

Yep, great track from what many have noted-a sadly underrated record from the Crue. This one had some of their strongest tunes in years. The band was killer live with Corabi too when I saw them.

I always loved the crue. When this album came out this was the first single. I loved the whole album. I agree with pas. I went to see them on this tour and met Tommy And John. One of the best memories of my life!!

I bet if this song was released today, without anyone knowing who it was, without all the baggage Vince left, and all that controvery with the band, the split, and the division of the fans at the time. I think this song would rocket to the top, even today, it stands alone as an awesome piece of work that never got the recognition it deserves, the whole album

Say what you want...but this song kicks some serious ass! I can't believe that it didn't really do that well here in North America, it was close to the tops in Japan, and I will go even further and say this is one of their best pieces of work.
