@atrueindian1 There is nothing sick about that. Kannada is the language of Karnataka and the official language of administration in that state followed by English, then Hindi. The states of India were created on linguistic lines and all of India's regional languages are official languages, however Hindi is the language of the central government! If you Bengalis do not expect people to learn Bengali in Bengal then you people have no self respect, however we Kannadigas do!

First and foremost, Bengal is a scum hole and no one wants to migrate to your state, so your language is at no threat whatsoever. The Kingdom of Mysore was an industrialized state thanks to the Woodeyar Kings and everyone wants to come and live in Karnataka. We welcome them but migrants refuse to integrate with the locals and learn the language and that is WRONG!

I am especially grateful to Tagore for labeling all of South India as "Dravida" in the National anthem while Punjab, Sindhu, Gujarat, Maharasthra get special mention. Bengal was great in the past but what does it do now? It is one of the poorest states run by a government that follows an outdated and flawed out system of administration, that shit being communism!

@atrueindian1 Kannada culture does not teach anyone to disrespect other people's culture. Karnataka has been a bedrock for all of India's religions such as Jainism, Buddhism and different sects of HInduism. SHankaracharya established the first Matha in Sringeri and Ramanujacharya chose Melkot as his final resting place. All of them adopted Kananda as their language and assimilated with the locals. The new wave of migrants are arrogant and disrespectful to local Kannadigas and we resent that!
