  • Over 65% of Ghana's economy is Nigeria. Nigeria invests massively in manufacturing, transportation, banking etc in Ghana. If Nigerian businesses were to pull out of Ghana, Ghana’s economy will collapse. I hope that the Ghanaian Government will be smart enough not to allow the mistakes of the 60’s, when Lebanese and Indian businesses were forced out of several African countries only to realize that the Africans were not equip to fill the void.

I hope that arrogance and greed will not blind your leaders to realize that Ghana even with the new found wealth is still a village compared to Nigeria. Yes Nigeria has had a fare share of bad governance but Ghana is not yet out of the wood. Ghana is still a corrupt and poor country. Demanding $300,000.00 for a startup retail business is criminal, poor government policy and lack of understanding of basic business dynamics.

  • @Me50059 Nigeria can learn from Ghana on how to have a stable government and how not to kill your governors and how to keep your tribal wars to yourself. You guys have an abundance of issues. You guys need to do business in Ghana. You cant do it in your own country because its unstable. And if not Ghana you guys would go to some next west african country. So stop making it seem like Nigerians are doing Ghana a favour, plus you guys cant even get clean water and electricity for yourselvles.

  • @Me50059 -U seriously need to go back to school nd learn much harder how ghana economy got to the state it is. U ppl wanna accumulate everyone credit while ure own is colapsing. The people that will suffer more will be the very poor Ghanaians who would have gained employment and learn valuable skill-sets from the Nigerians. And for those that are forming negative opinion about Nigerians based on western press; do not forget that without Nigeria, there is no other country in Africa from East to West, North to South that can challenge the rest of the world. Nigeria’s problem is mainly rooted in politics.

  • @Me50059 -Indeed i guess u have failed to listen to the news lately...every week the ghanaian police nd fbi arrest at least 3-6 nigerians caught on fraud, armrobberies nd so on. I do not beleive u ppl can offer us anyything nd u ppl have anything to offer I definately suggest u ppl should use it in Nigeria not in Ghana. What happen in 80's in Nigeria will re-ocur in Ghana in 2011-2012 ghanaians are tyed of u ppl..watch nd see...PLSS DO NOT REPLY ME BACK I AINT URE FRIEND ND CARE LESS ABOUT NAIJA

  • Listen I'm a Ghana/Nigerian and I can explain why Ghana is treating Nigeria this way as a Nigerian from Imo State and Ghanaian from Kumasi, I know that Nigerians are all corrupted and anywhere they go, they go with their corruption, they are my own people but I wish they'll stop embarrassing themselves when they go to live in someone's country , they need to change period .

  • @margaret1353 i agree, i once lived in nigeria and thank god i moved from there, the government is soo corrupt, if your not already rich, find urself out of there because you'll just struggle, i seen my dad die trying to feed my family and because he was a fisherman and the waters were alwasy oily, he suffered... i hope they get there act together, thank god im in germany now

  • @okafordelta Thanks I have many families and friends in Germany and they have all lived in Ghana, Ivory Coast and Nigeria, each one of us will tell exact same story about Nigeria and their corruption, Entertainment is changing them and I hope they'll take that to different level like expanding it to politics and Technology and most Importantly fighting their corruption.

  • @okafordelta

Do not forget that Dangote is a Nigerian and he has several manufacturing plants in Ghana including cement manufacturing. Zinox is a Nigerian computer manufacturing company and they have manufacturing plants in Ghana creating jobs for thousands of Ghanaian just to mention a few. I hope that when you talk about Nigerian criminals you will also be smart enough to mention some of the Nigerian wealth builders in Ghana.

  • @Me50059 -comfort of the poor ghanains indeed..hahaha..creating jobs? what jobs? Training our ppl how to do 419 or training our ppl how to rob? Shame on u before u talk next time do major research bcs ure lies have wash ure face..lol...in the 80's was OMO Ghana nd in 2011-2012 will be OMO Nigeria ..Mark my words...

  • @Me50059 Funny when i hear nigerians say we need them. Nigerians come to Ghana cause there fed up with there own country. Its safe to do business in Ghana. As for Nigerians are the most generous, hospitable and friendly people on earth. LOL you must be drinking toilet water. If thats true, that must mean Jesus has come already. Its not the news that only bashes nigeria, go on onlinenigeria dot come and you read nothing but negative news. Ghana is the gatewaty to west africa.

  • @Me50059 Nigerians will soon get there "Nigerians must go bags" since you idiots think that is sooo funny. Ghana has to most foreignors out of the whole west africa, because they see it as a safe haven. No one wants to do business in Nigeria. lol Obama even said Ghana is the gateway to Sub-Saharan Africa and others should take notes.

Nigeria’s problem is mainly rooted in politics. Nigerian citizens are paying for their Government’s strong stance against the West during apartheid and for the fact that the rest of Africa were and are still too poor to gather there own news, rather than relying on western propaganda as a news source. Do not forget that Nigerians are the most generous, hospitable and friendly people on earth.
