  • was discovered by Hibat Allah Abu'l-Barakat al-Baghdaadi,[163] while the concept of reaction, foreshadowing Newton's third law of motion, was discovered by Ibn Bajjah (Avempace).[164] Theories foreshadowing Newton's law of universal gravitation were developed by Ja'far Muhammad ibn Mūsā ibn Shākir,[165] Ibn al-Haytham,[166] and al-Khazini.[167] Galileo Galilei's mathematical treatment of acceleration and his concept of impetus[168 was enriched by the commentaries of Avicenna[161]

  • The experimental scientific method was soon introduced into mechanics by Biruni,[158] and early precursors to Newton's laws of motion were discovered by several Muslim scientists. The law of inertia, known as Newton's first law of motion, and the concept of momentum were discovered by Ibn al-Haytham (Alhacen)[159][160] and Avicenna.[161][162] The proportionality between force and acceleration, considered "the fundamental law of classical mechanics" and foreshadowing Newton's second law of motion

  • The study of experimental physics began with Ibn al-Haytham,[154] a pioneer of modern optics, who introduced the experimental scientific method and used it to drastically transform the understanding of light and vision in his Book of Optics, which has been ranked alongside Isaac Newton's Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica as one of the most influential books in the history of physics,[155] for initiating a scientific revolution in optics[156] and visual perception.[1

  • Ibn al-Nafis laid the foundations for circulatory physiology,[ as he was the first to describe the pulmonary circulation[1 and coronary circulation,[which form the basis of the circulatory system, for which he is considered "the greatest physiologist of the Middle Ages."He also described the earliest concept of metabolism,[while discrediting many of their erroneous theories on humorism, pulsation,[ bones, muscles, intestines, sensory organs, bilious canals, esophagus, stomach, etc.

  • (Ibn senna)A vicenna The Canon of Medicine, which was responsible for the discovery of contagious disease, introduction of quarantine to limit their spread, introduction of experimental medicine, evidence-based medicine, clinical trials, randomized controlled trials] efficacy tests, and clinical pharmacologythe first descriptions on bacteria and viral organisms] distinction of mediastinitis from pleurisy, contagious nature of tuberculosis, , sexually transmitted diseases, , nervous ailments,[

  • Muslim physicians made many significant contributions to medicine in the fields of anatomy, experimental medicine, ophthalmology, pathology, the pharmaceutical sciences, physiology, surgery, etc. They also set up some of the earliest dedicated hospitals,[128] including the first medical schools[129] and psychiatric hospitals.[130Al-Razi (Rhazes) discovered measles and smallpox, and in his Doubts about Galen, proved Galen's humorism false

  • Several Muslim astronomers also considered the possibility of the Earth's rotation on its axis and perhaps a heliocentric solar system.[85][111] It is known that the Copernican heliocentric model in Nicolaus Copernicus' De revolutionibus employed geometrical constructions that had been developed previously by the Maragheh school,[112][113] and that his arguments for the Earth's rotation were similar to those of Nasīr al-Dīn Tūsī and Ali Qushji(who preceeded him by centuries).[110]

  • he discovery that the celestial spheres are not solid and that the heavens are less dense than the air by Ibn al-Haytham,[108] the separation of natural philosophy from astronomy by Ibn al-Haytham and Ibn al-Shatir,[109] the first non-Ptolemaic models by Ibn al-Haytham and Mo'ayyeduddin Urdi, the rejection of the Ptolemaic model on empirical rather than philosophical grounds by Ibn al-Shatir,[88]

  • Early scientific methods were developed in the Islamic world, where significant progress in methodology was made, especially in the works of Ibn al-Haytham (Alhazen) in the 11th century, who is considered a pioneer of experimental physics,[87 Others see his use of experimentation and quantification to distinguish between competing scientific theories as an innovation in scientific method.[87] Ibn al-Haytham has been described as the "first scientist" for his development of the scientific method,

  • so sad, seeing how poor hesam ha sno knowledge of islam or science, see my video islamic science giants onr ight(you are refuted)islamic science giants 2 yes ibn al haythem is father of scientific method!!!and yes gallileo, kepler, coppernicus, and newton all used and borrowed muslim scientists models that preceeded them vy centuries, from ibn shatir,al tusi, birni, farabi, and hundreds more,go read george sarton's history of science, and get a clue ,oh and heres more facts..next thread

  • Islam never had a glorious past, Iran had a glorious past before Arabs attacked Iran and forced their religion down our throats. Whatever good there is in Iran is from Iranians not from Islam. If you want to know what Islam gave us watch Sadegh-Hedayat's video: watch?v=7LfEjmtUSb8

Islam, Christianity, Judaism, all are man-made mythical religions full of made-up lies.

No intelligent mind takes a second look at any of these religions. Science by itself completely voids Religion.

  • @Hesam0000

To deny the Islamic history and it's advancement for man kind is to deny history and human development all together, The numerical system that has been the foundation for science growth in the world is an Arabic one just to give you an example,

To think the world clock stopped when arabs invaded Iran is so childish that it doesn't warrant a response, but to blame religion as the i'll of mankind and not the man is to say the world has no had any wars since it has become secular!

  • @iraaus It's hard to see who in fact that history belonged to after 1300 years.Algebra was invented by Omar Khayyam, he was from Neishabur Iran. The only "islamic advancement" you see is when Arab invaders inside Persia used our architects, scientists and mathematicians to their own credit. The only time that Baghdad was the center of science & literature it was owned by Persians. By the way the name "Baghdad" is a Persian name and the city was built by Persian king. Islam is a cult not religion.
