What happens in a "G" Overdose..the body suffocates the brain as Carranza626 was saying. Basically shutting down your brain/body until your brain is able to re-hydrate itself. This drug is made from from chemically induced paint thinner. The line from enjoyment to ODing is VERY close. Sadly this drug is fairly new into the scene, and these cops didn't know how to recognize it cause it does seem like some sort of epilepsy. It also is only blood-testable, so far nothing on drug testing.

@Tinacoladaa You mean like, alcohol for instance? Cigarettes? Coffee? All legal and all have proven negative effects even when moderated by an official government body. GHB (funnily enough) has no known long term side effects when used conservatively. That being said it is a (when comparing to marijuana, alcohol, tobacco etc.) relatively new drug so nothing is certain. Also there is an amount of GHB already present in the human body.

Literally comparing uppers to downers. Think of GHB as being more along the lines of super-concentrated alcohol. Makes you feel drunk with a few grams. Ecstasy is a substituted amphetamine.

It's GHB i'm sure, it is a pretty harmless drug unless you take as much as this guy has done. This can easily happen because GHB is easy to overdose, but an overdose an even GHB coma isn't really that dangerous because GHB does NOT supress breathing or heart rhythm like for an example heroin or even alcohol does. But what it does for many people is it makes you very happy, kinda drunk and you loose a LOT of inhibitions, which can make you an asshole at parties.
