The melody has been taken from some classical opera. I wish I would remember which one. It's a melody played by a cello. Does someone know? I'd be grateful!!!!
I remember like yesterday the astonished face of Mr.Aggelopoulos when, during the Cannes ceremony award, he was called to receive only the second prize for this film "Ulysses' Gaze" instead of the Palm d'Or that was given to Kusturica's "UNDERGROUND". And I recall myself thinking of how arrogant this man Aggelopoulos can be.
@lefkoyasemi You are perfectly right. There are spaces between both. I only wonder whether the scene shown in this video really the best in the whole film is. I think it is not.
