Funny!!! I love wipe - outs as long as there's no harm. It comes with the teritory. Just love catchin air. Think you hit that one tee totally wrong dude. May be trim... maybe your partner on back. Some how you got the frontend down... LOVE IT!
I had a get-off like that. My friend (250 lbs) and me (140) at the time on a 96' GTX. I was cranking it and wanted to spin us out but it just sort of subbed and we were cannon balls. I remember the first time I saw that 96' GTX. It was a knockout that year! It just refused to believe it was a 3 seater. I ride stand-ups too so all these hardcore stand-up clowns can go buck a fuffalo!! Most of them can't even ride them let alone ride a "couch"
i ride 2 kawasaki stand ups. a 1984 JS550 and a 1987 JS300SX. its way more fun to ride those.
and i was going to continue the sentence "they have no clue" but i got up for a minute and my brother decided he was going to click post comment before i was done typing.
i was going to say they have no clue what they are doing, on a sit down you dont pay attention to riding. all you do is sit, pin the throttle and whip the bars around.
i got more money in the 550 than the 300. the 300 was free and all it needed was a carb rebuild. they are pos's and i will admit it, but its way more fun to ride an old skool JS hull than it is to ride a couch.
i have no trailer. its called lifting up the skis and put em in the back of the truck and still tow the boat.
There is no gears just a straight shaft out of the engine and a plastic bucket as seadooers call it that redirects the thrust. No harm except for a heavy ass seat thats filled with water for about half a day haha my dad did that while racing a friend and "pulled the bucket" while he was doing seventy that was pretty funny and that happened 3 years ago with a 05 RXP haha
my GOd that was crazy, im never trying that. Its a good idea tho, i thought about perhaps gently pulling it in case of emergency. But not all the way like these retards
there are no brakes obviously, no watercraft has brakes duhh, floor it and pull reverse and thats how you do a nosedive, you cant do a nosedive by letting off the throttle dummies
neither will pulling the reverse lever -- most jetskis that have reverse dont deaccelerate too much different than letting off throttle.. its more of a bad luck mixture of letting off and hitting a perpendicular wave; reverse is only functional at low speeds (its more like a car burnout if you gas it too fast) -- funny nonetheless!!!
it is just purely the reverse lever, ive done it, thats what its supposed to do. its a safety precaution. if you cant stop by letting off the throttle, you throw it into reverse and stop immediately(resulting in dive), like in the video. nice try, though

Never ride two dudes at a time, that's just uncomfortable for the onlookers.

This is a prime example of how to break shit. Not that funny when you tear the reverse out the thing. KInda made for slow moving

actually there are no brakes he just let off the gas to fast and the nose dived

ahahhaa /used sarcasm
if you pull the shifter to reverse on a sit down ski it does that....trust my letting off the throttle will not do that extent of de-acceleration
mtbwarrior 3 years ago
