I enjoyed this chase sequence but kept thinking wow is this still happening? A long chase sequence but still very entertaining, however although I'm not into violence and prefer films like Halloween that play around it and don't use much gore, I was kind of thinking we should have seen this girl get axed after all that lol!

i like to see remakes and the original and i like the remake better than the original on this one and plus 2008 prom night has a complete diff story line so its not really a remake of this one if it was it would have same plot, same character names and same reason for the killer being there but its not so =P

I love this movie and the chase is aswome, but there's a huge error in the beginning that always bothered me. When they get out of the bathroom Wendy steps out of the door to find the killer in front of her. How could he have gotten over ther unless the bathroom has 2 doors within two feet of each other. Then she runs away from him towards the doors to go outside. She can't open them because they are locked. When she runs away the killer follows behind her when he was nowhere near those doors.

This is the original 'Prom Night' from 1980. The 2008 'Prom Night' was a remake, but in title only. The plots were completely different. And this one is much better than the 'remake'.

One of the most influential chase scenes of the '80s slasher genre. Say what you want, it has been copied, imitated, and reproduced time and again over the past 28 years. If anyone thinks the remake will have that kind of longevity, you need to step back on your spaceship.
