However, come tournament time, most people want as guaranteed of a win as possible and thus go with the strong characters instead of the less powerful ones. O_o

Picking low tier in a serious match against VDO, would be insulting. If Crizzle played low tier, it would be as if he didn't have any respect for VDO. Even with his low tier team, pros need to take him very seriously if they want to win.

They're playing on the Dreamcast version, which is typical for most tournaments.

Naaaa I dont think so, I not really into this game as a gamer (Im a kof Player), but I have seen players whos always pushing lots of preassure with storm, they wont you even breath and more having sentinel as a striker!

this guy it's doing totally the opossite! hes always going back and defending him self with cable, hes not an attack type fighter =)

Props to VDO even winning once there was nothing short of amazing. It really didn't seem like there was anything else he could do, every time he got close it was either Cable Assist, run away and reset, or another one of storms amazing pokes to once again reset the situation.
