Actually, I think the storyline goes as follows. Kaito likes Miku. Even though she likes him back he can't see that. He wants her but feels bad for it. I imagine that he is also a bit insane, seeing as he is willing to poison her drink. Eventually he knocks her out. In this pv, it is seen as Miku getting up. According to the Rin and Len pv, this is only a hallucination. What really happens is Kaito is raping Mikus unconcious body. It's actually not a sweet story. DX

Cantarella IS deadly, in a large dose. But it's also the same thing that was used in Romeo and Juliet to make Juliet appear dead. If someone knows the proper dosing it can make a person fall into a deep, death-like sleep for around 4 hours OR it can kill them within four hours. Judging from the size of the vile, I'm guessing that he wasn't trying to kill her.

No, actually, if you see in other Cantarella fandubbed videos, one is Cantarella in Miku's POV. Kaito IS trying to kill her, and her knows about it. The part you mentioned about large doses of Cantarella is fatal is correct. Pope Alexander VI poisoned political threats with it. Cantarella first makes the victim fall asleep for around 4 hours and then dies in his/her sleep.

Miku knew how much to drink and plays along.
