You don't need to explain why you like or dislike a book, artist, or writer. If someone gets their feelings hurt, then they are taking this way to seriously. I watch your videos because I like that you review books honestly and are not pandering to a publisher...like some other youtube channels.

I could never stand Marvel Comics I don't know why, just very boring and whats the word. DC is just so much more fantasy and darker themed comics. That is what holds my attention.

wait elliot thats a cop out! if you would change your reviews if you could decide "who live and dies" in the comic industry then you would be lying to your viewers. if you would do that then it would be time to hang up your reviewers hat . i think you guys back up your opinions and interpretations fairly well i don't always agree but they aren't thoughtless

I def agree with you guys the green lantern issues have been amazing in the past....some of the best issues in a while, but some of the current issues have gone a bit downhill especially the free comic day issue I personally can't wait until blackest night, but the writing needs to come up especially since its going to have dark reign number of tie ins. Hopefully a fifth of the tie-ins will be decent although tie ins are just a big fucking waste of money.

I like Geoff Johns alot & its ok to express your honest opinon about the writer. No harm no foul. Grant Morrison is in my opinon the writer that sucks big balls at DC. Batman RIP & FC was not enjoyable in the least. There are writers that are overhyped at the house of no good ideas that have overpriced titles aka Marvel --that is the truth.

Ok, while i agree that final crisis was a major fuck up and r.i.p. was a little disjointed (though i did rather enjoy it), there is no way Grant Morrison sucks balls. What about All-Star Superman?? The Invisibles is probably one of my favorite comics of all time. It's cool if his stuff is not your cup of tea, i realize that his writing style is not for everyone, but to say that he sucks balls is a bit of a stretch. But that's just my opinion and you are certainly entitled to yours.

All Star Superman was Grant off his drugs & thinking straight and making sense in those 12 issues. I liked All Star Superman as a Superman fan. However with Final Crisis & Batman RIP Grant Morrison his most recent works from DC was pure shit.

Look at Loeb, Bendis & Millar... each of them did awesome work in the past, but as soon as they felt they were "Stars", instead of artist, they put out crap...

Also I'm curious what Elliot think is fundamentally wrong with Aquaman? Why does he fail time after time as a comic, he's iconic and apart of the pop culture lexicon, but Aquaman just doesn't sell.

Can you break that down I'd like to see it, hell if you wanna breakdown other failed characters I'd like to see that too.

Geoff Johns is my favorite writer. He's the man in charge of the Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash universes which to me is amazing. Having said that, I agree that GL Corps AS OF LATE has been more entertaining than the actual Green Lantern book. He's green, he's yellow, he's red, he's blue. I geet it. Although, I do dig Agent Orange quite a bit. As long as you're being honest with yourselves and your viewers, keep on doing what you're doing.

I don't understand why U hate Geoff Johns? He is an amazing write clearly the best DC's write those days and he is the write on the best DC series today and one of the best comics series.

His good on GL beyond amazing, from all the issues of the series I liked and enjoyed like 95%of it, and he his also responsible for GLC which is also great (started to be good from SCW) he is latterly save DC from releasing only bad series.

Exactly and Johns isn't the best writer DC has, Peter Tomasi has the best overall quality on books like GLC, The Outsiders and The Mighty, but there will come a time when Tomasi produces a few mundane scripts, it happens to all writers.

I happen to like Johns stuff on GL atm but I like books that like to throw a lot of stuff at you. However Flash Rebirth is just pretty bad so far.
