You must fill the bambou with sand first and close the open edges, than heat it, with a torch and than bend it.

wrong bamboo to bend..thats not the kind of bamboo you need...There is one kind of bamboo you can bend really good..sorry I don't know that kind of bamboo ing English..but you can get that in my country the Philippines.I am sure they have to in other country..Good luck

You have to put sand inside dude to prevent from cracking and even bend.

Great vid! so... what were the results... enquiring minds want to know... were you able to find the amount of pressure and/or weight you can apply befor the bamboo breaks... ALSO... what Type of the 1600 or so species were you using :)
