  • @IIIDoCIII haha... that is Gene Krupa! Funny, he doesn't even have a mustache. Probably an errant shadow, but yeah I see it.

  • @LindyCompound Krupa does the lip snarl when he's muggin.' xD ..Archer segway.."Why was he dressed up as Hitler?" "wait no, the one with the teeth..Buddy Rich!"

  • Leon James is my great grandpa =]

  • @princesstav tons of us are so inspired by his dancing and ability to entertain! Does your family talk about him much? I've wondered what he was like. If you were able to interview family members who remember your great grandpa James and share, we would be so indebted & excited! =)

Frankie Manning lived so much longer, so it was a real honor to hear him talk about his life and the golden era of the lindy hop at the Savoy. Wish we had the same with Leon James.

  • This is FABULOUS!!!! Love it!!

  • buenísimo!!!!!!! bravo!!!!

  • This is the way African Americans hid the African martial arts in the dance in

North America, see how some of the move resemble the African American Martial Art of Capoeria in South America?
