Actually, on this model it's just a reminder to check the check panel at the top. Once you click the "check" button there, it goes away.

@Smacdoug1 are you sure you have one of those cars? the check engine light could be going off because he hasn't even hit the brakes yet, or his coolant sensor is broken, or one of the many issues listed in the check panel...

LOL non turbo m20s are fail, eta heads fail harder. Sorry, the lower comp ratio is awesome for that reason. >200hp in 2800lbs+ = not that fast.

Because the engine is build for maximum torque making it more fuel efficient than the 325i.

stock 325is is 168hp and im not to sure but its around 170fpt not that far from the 325e in torque. So adding a dinan chip gives me 16hp and 12 fpt wich would make this car 184hp and 182fpt then adding a cat back for and intake system some for more added horse and high octane fuel not only will I smoke a 325e but should be able to keep up with a stock 325m3 first gens.The gear ratio is 3.73 rear end in the 325is models.

You guys all make me laugh 325e is 121 hp I used to own one,then I chipped it and did a cat back system and air intake cone filter I did a dyno run on the car and at the rear wheels I was getting around 91 hp and 146 fpt now I have the same car I but in 325is just picked it up last week ,I will be adding the exact mods like my old one.

You got 91hp because it was really old. When they were originally sold they had 121 hp but yeah because they are old cars, they'll now produce significantly less. Also that was 91 at the wheels right? I guess the 121 is at the engine?

its got a ///M325 badge on the rear but it says 325e on the inside of the door.

not to mention its got a frontbumper and spoiler thats different from most 325s but they look stock

oh yea and its got a lowered suspension with 205 tires on it so it just flys around corners:]
