your so brave hunni,, and i totally agree about props, i hated them. babe why don't you look into a hair weave you totally have enough hair to get a really good result and you can do away with the hair prop, you will feel so much better and confident.
The hair thing has been a big problem for me as well but I have a love for hats and such, so I tend to use those as my props now. I had a hair appointment the other day for the first time in 14 years it was great, I was treated with curtesy and respect. She is working with me to try out and change styles to fit my thinning hair. She said it was the same as working with her lady's that have allopecher. So props are up to you wigs hats whatever makes you feel comfortable.
You really don't look less of a woman. Your facial features reamin soft and feminine - and those big, soft looking lips - I gues syou could say "Stellar" facial features.
Cindy Crawford said " I wish I looked like Cindy Crawford ". It's not makeup, it's a disguise. I don't like women doing fake stuff like metal, implants, botox, plastic surgery. You are beautiful, just the way you are, inside and outside. Don't change a thing; real is beautiful.
that took true courage sweety, im proud of you for being confident enough to do that....you are still just as much a female ,if not more than some others who take it for granted....i understand ...im fifty-three yrs old, if you saw me without my hair on you'd know why no one in public ever does, i dont have anything left up there, male pattern balding is a tough thing that some transwomen have to try and make peace with....you're still a beautiful young gal wig or no wig.....((huggs))
I talked to a recovering cancer patient who really dislikes her implants because she says it's something she's wearing, and they don't feel natural to her, get in the way during yoga-interesting perspective-
Lee, One of the things that I read was part of the feminization was all the accessories that go with it. I guess the makeup, the wig, jewelry, etc. As far as breast implants, the synthetic stuff can be scary, but I heard about breast reconstruction that they use on cancer patients where they take your own fat tissue, like from the abdominal area and move it to the chest. I don't know how well that holds up, but I know its been tried.
yes yes hun your soo BRAVE also inmy eyes ..and still you look amazing with the wig you got a very beautyfull face eyes lips and soo on ;)..did you start with hair inplanting ? i did not get that from the vid a 100%..well al i can see is you are real hun:) hugies xxx be well be safe alana:D
Congrats on this video. I understand what you mean. The concept of using 'props' can be exhausting. Its awesome that you can distance yourself from artificiality and understand the real concept of beauty.
(But on a side note, I just had to add this. The wig you have isn't the best look for you, a long straight style is very hard for anyone to pull off... Bangs always look great on your kind of face, as well as wavy medium/shoulder length styles that add width instead of height.)
I must be blessed, at this point the only thing that is fake are my boobs, I'm still stuffing as I let them grow. Besides that and make up everything is real, my hair... ect. Since about 3 months after starting hormones I did feel like I was protending anymore it just felt right and like I finnally belonged, I lived for two years full time before hormones and felt like I was faking allot of that time. Like i said I must be blessed or you might just need some more time, we are all different.

@dizyrache Aren't weaves expensive and damaging to hair? And wouldn't my huge widow's peak still show?

That was so brave.
I applaud you!
Your beauty and femininity shines regardless of the trappings you adorn yourself with (or not).
It comes from your heart.

Phew, that must have taken some courage! I still have just about all my hair so I don't know what you go through with having to wear a wig.
My hat is off to you for liberating yourself!
PS I AM jealous of your lips though, I hardly have any.

You have an edgy supermodel look without the wig. You could definitely work that look.
