umm TMleafs12.. pyroblast is a 5 second cast and it does pretty shitty dmg so stop complaining. and wtf if u love fire so much go respec its 1g fer the first time

Pyroblast is a 5 second cast

Deep freeze is instant cast and a 5 second stun.

That is why it doesnt do dmge:P its a hammer of justice with half the cd

hey guys...why are u pised? just use ICY VEINS and the DEEP FREEZE and then.....all your (i mean our) problems are gone...in pvp but lets face it....frost mage who atemt to be in the top of the dps in pve.......are just screwed my main char. is an undead mage(frost spec ofc) and i'm relly happy with the blizzerd decision to be able to stun targets i dont like that glyph who made frostbolt incresd by 5%,but the slower effect dosent ocur..that my friends such!

That is really nothing compared to the shaman new spells tbh. Thunderstorm = reflectable AoE?? What the hell!? The only reflectable AoE in the whole game. -.-' Also the new improvement in Magma Totem is just retarded.. "Gives ele shammy's more AoE in raids and instances" Uhm, it uses Fire Totem slot, so what about Wrath totem? 280 spl dmg and 3% crit to ALL CASTERS in the raid.. That or a totem that costs a shitload of mana and only lasts 8 secs, dealing 3-400 damage per 2 secs?

Hey, O.P. = Over Powered.. and it wasnt the stun alone that made it so op, it was the damage it added, and allowed the target to still be frozen, allowing for the frost talent Shatter to proc for icelance and frostbolt making the overall combo a huge amount of burst damage.

Sorry to say it, but no Deep Frezze no longer does dmg. all it does is stun.

Unfortunately to say (as I am also a frost mage) the damage has in fact been removed. However, unlike frost nova, deep freeze does not break for damage, if one spams icelance, you can get at least 3 if not 4 icelance rifled off in the duration.

don't wanna be a "party pooper", but since deep freeze affect global cooldown = 1,5sec.

u only get 3,5sec of joy and since ice lance also affect global cooldown u only get in 2 ice lances :/ (don't remeber if the third get affected by shatter effect)

True, but you can chain it off of frostbolt like you normally would an icelance on a frozen target, completely re-freezing them, along with stunning them.

Have an idea:

1: Either give it the dmg back

2: Or "next frosbolt 30% faster cast"

3: no need for frostnova to use it (still needs more buff after that)

4: Remove global CD

I roll mage-rog and it's just useless.

As Beta build 8982, it causes 1189 to 1381 Frost damage and stuns the tarrget for 5 sec. Only usable on frozen targets.

If your a warrior or rouge that gets close to a mage and their frost nova is on cool down you can kill the mage in just a few hits most likely. Mages do huge damage, but have shit health and armor. every class has strengths and weaknesses If mages got nerfed so they did less damage, they would suck. They would be easy pray for anyone, and would be useless. You guys can stop your crying. If you really think mages are so OPed go make one yourself

I haven't come across a video yet that says nerf the warlocks, warriors, paladins, priests, shamans, hunters, death knights, rogues, or druids. Druids alone are 3 classes rolled into 1. All mages get to do is dps and as most of the WoW community who haven't rolled mage view them; act as a vending machine or quick transport to another city.

OP having the meaning of easily removed along with frozen condition by a trinket :/ no longer frozen or stunned. Once it's removed they can resume beating the mage. Take a look at the talents at the end of the other class trees before you start calling mages OP

wrong. Warriors and feral druids do that charge thing(druids in cat form also have that sprint) so they can get in close. Paladins have blessing of freedom so they aren't affected by movement impairing effects that ice mages rely on. So a retadin with a 2H sword swings once,twice, kills. Spellstealing it will work but you'd have to get it pretty quickly or else. Most other melee classes have ways to get in close combat again. oh and one more thing, I never said I had a mage

You wouldn't have to tell me that, your lack of knowlage of the class is proof enough you don't have a mage. That 'charge thing' warrior's have is a 30 second CD, called intercept, 15 with talents/arena bonuses, which matches blink's..so GG use it everytime they intercept you. And you're seriously trying to tell me a ret pally can two shot a mage with 400 resil and 10k hp in PvP gear? Haha.

first of all, just because a lot of people can get welfare epics now doesn't mean that that they'll bother to get 400 resilience and 10k hp at this point. And why would they unless they want to replace ALL their gear in about 2 months. 2nd, the point of that comment about 2 hitting was an exaggeration meant to point out how fragile mages are in close combat. And 3rd, you clearly I assumed that I did have a mage in your first reply.

As a matter of fact, it's instant in the video, the 1.5 seconds of no casting you see are the GCD. Plus there's no casting bar, and it's clearly enabled as Frostbolt uses it.

I am a 70 mage, PvP as frost atm is very difficult unless the target has no CD's and trinkets to escape freeze.
