Just announced today, it looks like both AT&T and verizon will be getting a phone that is equivalent to the HTC Evo. AT&T will get one from Motorola called Shadow. And Verizons phone is made by LG and it is called Ally. The features will be the same: 4.3" screen, 1GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera. Neither of these phones will be 4g (which Sprint doesn't offer in all markets anyway). And they both have full QWERTY sliding keyboards.

@callmetw, the LG phone going to Verizon will have a 5mega pixel camera and have lower screen resolution. less Rom. The Motorola phone ALLEGEDLY going to At&t will have similar specs to the LG. None of the phones will be HD or have HDMI. Not to mention neither of those phones will be 4G. Lastly, Sprint will be getting a similar LG device as well, The EVO will be in a class all it's own for quite some time.

SPRINT SUCKS!!! They have to introduce a phone every few years that will keep their customers interested. Many people will get locked into a new 2yr contract and then realize that the battery life sucks, they have to pay an additional fee to send and receive pictures, and that they don't even get 4G service in their area. With that said, I've been eligible for an upgrade from Sprint since 2007. If this phone is priced around $300- $350.00 I'm definitely gettin it.

@callmetw I don't know where you get your information from? I have the Sprint unlimited plan and I can call, web, video, pic, as much as I want too.. all for 69 Bucks! I was a AT&T subscriber and my bill was all over the place average around 120 bucks. I have never got a drop call with sprint and used to get them all the time with AT&T. I am using the SM with Sprint now and will be first in line for EVO. Where I live the best internet I can get (Concast) is 1.5MBs. I have 4g now 10mbs

maybe this could FINALLY be the "iPhone killer" I think every phone that's come out for 2 years has been hailed as the iPhone killer but this is the first one that really seems to have a better version of everything that apple and the iphone offers.
