Our sad ass corporate owned radio stations NEVER play JJ Cale. It is always someone covering one of his songs. Arizona radio sucks worse than its politics. When only 3 companies own every English language station in town you are screwed! I can remember Pulitzer Prize winning KCAC/KDKB way back when, with no format at all. Cale in the afternoon, Chet Atkins in the evening, Hendrix at night, and Bach in the AM. Now its all formatted preselected BS. RIP Bill Compton, it'll never be the same.
