I was starting to wonder how the Wings didn't win the Stanley Cup that year! Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Yzerman, Hull, Lidstrom...and then I realized who was in goal...and I remembered how the Red Wings didn't win it all.
It wasn't Cujo's fault. In the 2nd round he gave up 2 goals total over games 5 & 6 while all those stars you just mentioned, scored 0. GAA in the playoffs for Cujo: 1.39 with a save % of .939. Wings had too many stars and not enough character guys.
