I think this shows a main difference between old and new players. Wes lost the set but he made a major adjustment in the second match using the same character on the same stage.

Lol there's no reason to disrespect Wes based on how he did vs Mango. Let's look at some facts:

1. Mango is the best player in the world

2. He has the best Anti-Samus game in the world

3. Wes is just coming out of retirement.

No need to disrespect him.

Now, that being said, Mango disrespected Wes in-game because he knows Wes talked shit about me. So he did what he did, not cuz he disrespects veterans, but cuz Wes talked shit to me LOL. That's all there is to it.

You've forgotten about Armada? He's by no means worse than Mango right now. Best anti samus game in the world, there's no real proof nor statistic to support that claim at all considering there's alot of good melee players. Mango without doubt is good vs. samus, but Falcon is a really good pick vs. Samus. Just because you as a good samus player can do well vs. Falcon, that's like claiming Peach is a Fox counter by looking at how good Armada is vs. that char alone.

@Sybawave When you don't play Melee in three years how does anyone play Mango and expect to win? He's not one of those "retired" players that play all the time anyway -cough-Darkrain-cough- He's actually considered by many to be one of the guys who started developing the metagame super early on. Used to literally 9 stock people back when it was ten stock. He beat Azen solidly back then too. The reason you haven't heard of him is because he didn't travel much and wasn't relevant since 2007.

@DAftFalcon Yeah, i'm from Texas so you shouldn't really be talking about people who do play all the time but don't really play without actually knowing their actual status. He doesn't play all the time herpderp. The last time anyone's seen him was almost more than a year ago, January 5th or around that date. And it's hard to tell that he invented Samus because he used his bomb recovery terribly at high places and never missile cancelled when he had the chance. He really should just pick Falco.

I'm playing for a different reason than chillin, I'm playing just to test myself to see how fast I can adapt in a short period of time and to see if I still got it. During my prime I was a top dog like azen and the rest sucks that Chillin wasnt he was always good in my eyes.
