  • 我學中文學了一年.

    昨天晚上我跑步跑了三英哩.

    我們學中文的時候學得很高興.

    得很難.

    可不可以?

  • so for a simple sentence, like ta1 chang4ge1 zhen de hen hao, instead of "ta1 chang4 ge chang4 de5 hen hao?"

  • 我吃饭吃得很快

    你学日语学了两课本

    她睡觉睡了八小时

  • 你好 Peggy! this is probably all crazy wrong but here we go.

    我学中文学四个月。 我讲中文讲的不好。

    hope i didn't mess up too bad =D 多谢!Jack

  • @ardeasofdentarg Very good! But it sounds better like this 我學中文學了四個月 and the "de5" in the second sentence should be 我講中文講"得"不好 :)

  • @PeggyTeachesChinese 谢谢!你真棒!

  • @ardeasofdentarg You can say 我学了中文四月了。- I've learning Chinese for four months.

  • 我讲中文讲的还不错. 我学中文学了差不多两年, 而且主要独立的在 youtube. 我觉得你教得很好, 越来越好 ;-)

  • Peggy 老师好!

    谢谢你为这一刻。我有这个问题:

    这个句子里:

    我把事忘了,或者,工作把他累死了。。。

    把是什么意思?

  • what is the difference between 汉语 and 中文?i thought they were the same.

也, i thought 米饭 means rice and 吃饭 means eating. 我在吃饭 = i am eating.

so i thought to say i am eating rice would be: 我在吃米饭。我是对吗或我是不对吗?if im wrong a lot of people think i eat buckets full of rice 哈哈. 谢谢 Peggy.

  • @ukmale164 ... han4yu3 aka the language of the han chinese is now the official language of china(zhong1guo2) aka zhong1wen2. Does that make sense? China is composed of many minority ethnics groups with unique languages. Yet, when these minority groups are combined together, they still only constitute a small percentage of the population in relation to the han chinese ethnic group. Thus the histroically distinction between these two terms has eroded overtime, leaving them practically...

  • @dkmo erm, kind of, i know that 汉语 (mandarin) is the official language i just mean there are different kinds of characters which mean "chinese". 汉语 means, han language which is Mandarin. But you also have

中国的, 中文, 华人, 华语, 中华的。 I wanted to know the difference between each word which means "Chinese"

  • @dkmo 華夏 is the historic name of 中国. Officially now, the name of china isn't zhong1guo2, but rather zhong1hua2 ren2min2 gong4 he2guo2. Just like UK, it's the short form for a longer title. Similarly, Han4ren2 is to 'English' (people), what hua2ren2 is to 'British'. More so, hua2qiao2 means overseas chinese, which is a title that encompasses all Chinese groups.

you can say han4yu3 / han4wen2 or you can say hua2yu3 / hua2wen2. 'yu3' empahisizes the spoken aspect, while 'wen2' emphasizes...

  • the written aspect. i already explained how the dominance of the han ethnic group has made han4yu3 / han4wen2 into the official language of China. That's why it also goes by pu3tong1hua4 (shuo1hua4 de hua4, which is equivilant in meaning to yu3) , guo2yu3 (in taiwan) and of course, zhong1wen2.

What title it goes by depends on the people your with. In singapore and malaysia, for example, they prefer to use hua2yu3. Taiwan: again mostly guo2yu3. China: pu3tong1hua2. In clasroom: zhong1wen2

  • @ukmale164 synonmous is meaning to modern chinese speakers

  • wo3 jiao1 xu4xue3 jiao1 le5 2 nian2

  • @techn0scho0lbus zhen1 de5 ma1? wo3 jue2de2 shu4xue2 hen3 nan2. :(

  • 很好 should be translated as very well....so very well should be an adverb phrase...

of coz, 很好 can also be an adjective, as translated as very good....

  • 你好Peggy!谢谢你!Thank you for the lesson! 你教中文教得很好!

  • Peggy教中文教得很好 {•~•}

  • Peggy Lao Shi1,

Ni Hao. Dui bu qi wo de Zhong Wen bu hao:

Wo / xue zhong wen / xue le / lian ge nian (that's the easy one)

    Let me know. Bye Bye.

  • 如果我学中文学得很多, 但是我仍然觉得我说得不太好。

我在网里写字写得不错, 因为我会用Pinyin Input System 用得非常善。 我尝试说汉语的时候, 我总是觉得词觉得太长。

It is a little bit longer, but woud be really nice, if you would correct it :)

  • @Jackpower1989 The ones in the parentheses are the corrected phrases. :)

    「 既使」我中文學了「很久」,但是我仍然覺得我說得不太好。

    我在網路上很會打字,因為我「很」會用「漢語拼音輸入法」。

    「每當」我「試著要」說漢語的時候,我總是覺得句子太長。

    Good Job! :*)
