  • it looks like she sickles her foot and then you look again and realize shes not........

  • ur vajaja must be flexible

  • I almost have my complete splits yet my tilt is HORRIBLE! do I just keep stretching?

  • @pandaxseal3 You need to build your core and thigh strength as it's your stomach that helps you keep the 'shape' of the tilt, and your thighs that act as stilts while your leg's up there. I have all 4 full splits but I can't get my attempt as tilts much higher than 90 degrees.

  • my top leg is fine but how do i get my bottom leg to turn out?? somebody help please! dancer to dancer D;

  • Nice! :) I have to do this in dance, but my feet always turn in so.... Yea

  • OO i just learned it really good help

  • i can do that :)

  • i tried this :D, i fell :(

  • I think you must be able to do the middle splits than you can try a tilt

  • how do you get your leg high

  • @doggielover3001 You have to be flexible. You should have your middle splits. But you also have to be strong enough to bring your leg up high.

  • @littlecocoanutomatoe if you're that much better, where's your tutorial??

  • i'm flexible but not strong enough to hold my legs!!!! :'(

  • wish i was flexible enough to do this :(

  • glad u can do that cuz i cant!!!

  • cool!

  • Yeah I can do a tilt....to a faceplant on the floor. lol

  • thats such bad technique omg

  • This diddnt help :/

  • must apologies .... my eyes wer fixated onn ur /;.'.#$%... beautiful

  • ALYOVALLE

    YES U DO

  • how do you gain the balanced you squeeze your stomach? lol

  • her leg is in front of her not right beside her?????

  • @Emmasjudogirll 99.9% of people don't have an extension or turnout RIGHT in the side of them....

  • @shyannelikestodance maybe we should work on it haha

  • I was just wondering, if you do not have your middle splits, can you do this? I have HORRBLE turn out because of a past knee injury that stops me from going any further. Same thing with middle splits. But I've gotten really high and I can almost do a tilt, is flexbility a necassaity for this?

  • @shyannelikestodance no because you need leg strength not necassarily your middle split. i have a perfect middle split and i cant do a tilt for my life. my other friend cant to a middle split and ahe can do a tilt

  • @shyannelikestodance I have my tilt, and I'm gonna say no, you dont really need to be super bendy, but your hips do need to be really loose, and you need to be strong. Just remember, drop your torso as well (:

  • bazinga!

  • do u realize that all the uploader comments are the same questions and answers

  • do you have to be able to do side splits for this?

  • Comment removed

  • can you do this without being able to box/middle split?

  • @vinanixox No really, you can fake it but it won't look as good. But if you want it to look good. You need good flexibility in your center to do it right. Hope this helps ;-)

  • @PassionFluxDanceCo Thanks!!! it did help a lot to know that but what do you mean by 'fake it'?

  • Hi that was an amzing tilt! You have the strength to hold your leg and you have the flexibility to get the height, but you ned more hip flexibility to pull your leg backwards. I recomend doing beat beat wacks (lay on your back, raise both legs up towards the ceiling beat left leg in front then right leg in front, then wack out to the sides then bring legs back to the ceiling and repeat). This will help you gain flexibility and strength. Hope this helps and your an amzing dancer from waht I saw

  • @danceducation123 Thanks for your tips. She is still working on her tilt. An she is much better now.

  • name of the song??

  • @strwbrybabyg245 This song is "Try Your Wings" by Amel Larrieux

  • What's the name of the song???

  • @bwoodsfinest This song is "Try Your Wings" by Amel Larrieux

  • @PassionFluxDanceCo Thanks so much. Beautiful tilt by the way! ;-) ...

  • Just stretch everyday with that help well what i do is i stretch 15 minutes when i wake up and before i go to bed

  • You not only need strong legs, but you also ned, a strong core. Keep your center strong, cause you don't actually want to tilt over...

  • @arminedancer456 thank you :))

  • @divapanthas no problem :)

  • @divapanthas yes... to do this, you need to be able to do a straddle...

  • @jesstotallyrocks thanksss!! :)

  • Whats the song playing at the end?! Please <3

  • @chelsearayl I agree with you i like the song in the background; who sings it?

  • @chelsearayl This song is "Try Your Wings" by Amel Larrieux

  • Good job! these are one of my fav things to do but i call it a pitch not a tilt :P great job tho!!!!

  • you turn your knee in when your knee starts to come up to your stomach and I usually do that too, my teacher told me to remember my turnout and use your hamstring muscles too.

  • your bottom leg isn;t turned out but your lifting leg is...?

  • Do you need to have your center split to be able to do this?

  • Hello! Everyone has been asking for stretches because they have the flexibilty but not the strength... Im the opposite!! I have the strength but not the flexibilty. Im getting better at holding my leg up but its not very high. Lol. Any tips or suggestions? My hips arent very flexible but I do have my left and right split.

  • its a retire NOT a passe, it would be a passe if you were going from front fifth then up and over to close fifth in back, it is a retire if it is just one side at the knee.

  • @angelbaby233

no....thats only if your doing a posse/passe in a dance...if its just a position then you dont have to do that.

and starting in front fifth then going to close to back fifth would be a barre strengthening exercise.

  • @itspilar passe means to pass, for example passe a terre, (going from tendu devant through first to tendu derriere) a retire is the position at the knee, a "passe" is if you are changing from the front of the knee to the back of the knee and closing. It is one of the most common term missuses. the position passe is technically called retire

  • Is there a specific stretch i can do to help achieve this height? i can do a tilt jump but not jus holding it n the air =( i dnt think my legs r strong enuff

  • @Jaybabii2

Yeah you need strong legs to do this. I would work on extensions in ballet and master that. Also you can do a 3 partner stretch with one partner in front and one in back. Hold on to partner in front while in tilt position while back partner is holding your let from behind on you thigh and supporting your other side with their free hand. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! ;)

  • @PassionFluxDanceCo ok, will do..thanks!

  • @PassionFluxDanceCo You are in video????????!!!!!!!! You are a cool dancer.

  • @Jaybabii2 Standing leg lifts are really good for strength and splits for range of motion and flexibility :)

  • @Jaybabii2 have you recieve a response for this??? I want to know tooo!

  • @QwertyQuirks Yea I dont remember what she said though lol..I believe she said something about making my hips stronger. Like do certain exercises to make your legs and hips stronger so you can be able to hold it..

  • ya i can only get it to my waist...

  • How do you get the leg strength to do that? I practice but my legs not strong enough.

  • @xxxMariahilyxxx

Work those slow extensions in ballet. Always go harder. I hope that helps, we will have more videos on stretching soon. Thanks for watching

  • @xxxMariahilyxxx I know How Yu Feel

  • Hey :), How long did it take you to do the tilt? I really want to learn how.

  • that amazing! you are so good! im really trying to improve my tilt do you have any suggestions on what exercises/stretches can help me? I have the flexibility to pull my leg up but i dont know how to get the strength for it to hold itself up!

  • @livedreamdance87

You need to work on strength! Since you have the facility it will take you long to work the strength. You need to work the barre extensions in ballet as much as possible. I hope this helps. We will have some stretch videos coming up soon. Thanks for watching ;)

  • but how do i stretch to be able to do that??

    i have my right splits

my left are getting closee please help!!

  • @COCOpebblez100 you need to work on your straddle splits(middle splits) and turn out :)

  • @COCOpebblez100

We will be posting more stretch videos soon. Try and work on your center split and your good side split. Work hard in ballet class and always take the warm ups further. If you leg is at 90 the next time you have class push it an inch further. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching our video's

  • @COCOpebblez100

Stretch every day and do all your stretches in the heat. Go to a spa and sweet your body out while stretching. Or just go outside on a hot day start doing some runs then stretch. That should help a lot. Hope that helps ;-) Thanks for watching

  • @COCOpebblez100 you need to do your splits both ways and your middle splits aswell, once you can do all three ways you need to do your over splits... when you have your over splits from a reasonable height you should be able to do an extremely good tilt... good luck!
