Wow, do you call battles in Estonia from February to Seprember 1944 "a quick escape"? If this was quick escape, what would be a slow one? :)

Red Army actually failed twice in Narva front - first in February and March battles 1944. In July-August they lost at least 35,000 soliders as dead or missing and 135,000 as wounded or sick. The Tannenberg line was never defeated, it was abandoned in September 1944. The fight for Estonian islands lasted until end of November 1944.
