Grumpier Old Men when he tells Lemmon he thought maybe God had forgotten him. Then later found dead on the bench his son tells him God remembered him afterall. Sorry, still makes me tear up because of the kind of man he was and the love he put in each character made you believe it when he said it..

If anyone really wants to see what a phenomenal actor this man was, try to find a 1947 British movie, where Burgess is the Lead, playing the part of an American or Canadian psychiatrist, and the movie covers a myriad of vignettes, i.e. personal conflicts, his own struggles to iron out his own life, while he is confronted with a patient with schizophrenia, his own extramarital affair, his wife, friends, and simple bed wetting by a young boy-

Over 30 years ago i was coming home from work .Caught in rush hr traffic, I heard Burgess Meredith Reciteing The Cremation of Sam McGee over the radio. I loved it so much that it has been on my mind for years. I never ever heard it again. I have read it hundreds of times but never stoped looking for the reciteing by Burgess. Can someone please help me in my 30 years + quest?

Anybody ever stop the wonder why no wrongful death suit was filed against Clubber for Mickey's death? I mean one could even go so far as to go for an involuntary manslaughter charge. lol. Of course he'd go to prison, all the sanctioning bodies would have stripped him of the belts he won from Rocky, the titles would have been split up. Even if Rocky won a title again, he wouldn't be undisputed champ. And with Clubber in prison no one would think Rocky the champ anyway. Best the way it was. lol
