The thing about the Aires is that Michael is basically the star. The group without him has room for improvement and if it were not for Michael's consistent powerhouse performance, the group would have been eliminated a while ago.

The judges really screwed the Aires over on this one....."Here Pentatonix, have an incredibly dynamic song in which you can show your true potential. Oh here Dartmouth Aires, have the most repetitive song in history." And they still made it great.

The performance was very fun and energetic and they would b great to see, but it always seems like it's individual voices wanting their time in the spotlight and not one group because whenever I hear them sing, it always sounds like voices clashing instead of harmonizing together, with the exception of the queen performance, which was amazing. They're a really good group, but they just don't seem right for a recording contract. Also, this performance deserves at least an A, it was really fun wi

I wish the judges had given them something that really showed their vocal talent more than theatrics, kind of like they did with the Bubs in Season 1. They definitely could have a show, but you can't have pitch problems on a record cause who wants to listen to people sing off key?

Psh. These guys are putting in more work then auto-tuned megastars, and they're a helluva lot more entertaining. Granted, I'm sure they could do better, but for performing live, you're not gonna get perfection. Try to get anyone else out there jumping around like that and still sound bearable; the Aires clearly more than bearable.

They are not good singers, but they are good performers. Clark is a sissy and he is messing up the groups image. The bass is always off and they are not recordable. I have heard them sing on their CD and i would not buy it. They are just a glee club on steriods. This is Pentatonix to lose now that AB is out.

They are way better than Pentatonix.

The only reason Pentatonix is considered so great is because they only have 5 members. If you listen to them, it sounds like something is missing, but the judges and America doesn't care because they are good for how few people they have. The quality compared to number of members should not matter. The Dartmouth Aires are by far the most talented and most entertaining group in the competition.

@WiiPlayer113 I'm not sure if i agree. I think the most important thing IS quality regardless of the numbers. And Pentatonix is fantastic. The Aires are also great but they rely so much on Michael that for me it seems that if he was in this competition with 7 other people he'd still make top 3. Not saying the Aires aren't talented but I feel like they've lost a bit of what the competition is about.

This was an amazing performance, AMAZING performance. I do not believe this group should win because their performance was so amazing. This group is much more suited for live performances and touring; which I might add is far more lucritive than a recording contract.

Yeah this song choice was not as much a favor to DA as judges' choice were for Pentatonix and UM...

But the question abt the Aires being a group that could sell records - I think could be answered by the success of Glee which are a blend of theatrics, heart and fun and good vocals.

I think this group is underestimated but might be a darkhorse (I hope) when it comes to viewer votes.

Don't get me wrong, the dartmouth aires r a great group, but I don't want to c another all male group win again. Their performances were consistent, and their queen performance wuz amazing, but they haven't improved after that. Pentatonix should b the ones who win. Their performances have all been great and with only 5 people compared to the dartmouth aires' 16. I love the dartmouth aires and I wish the the best in the future, but my vote goes to pentatonix

i think the judges' choice of song was beyond poor. i love "shout" but i think it didn't showcase all the talent in the group, nor did it play to it's creativity. it's very obvious that w/choosing a florence and the machine song for pentatonix and then this war horse for the aires that the judges have a "critical favorite". the problem is, pentatonix is like that person in your creative writing class who follows the rules and misses the spirit. they had NO soul in let's get it on..

I do think that this song choice for DA was odd - PTX got a great choice (Dog Days Are Over is a fantastic song), but these guys probably won't win anyway, even if they had a better song choice.
