Recently, I attended the Get Motivated Seminar in Rochester, NY. It was interesting to see some of the "famous" speakers, yet I was annoyed by the constant push for investing and real estate information/classes. Unfortunately, I gave them my email address, so hopefully this doesn't happen to me. Did everything ever get resolved for you?
I unsubsrcibed from one version of their email then started getting another that doesnt have unsubscribe on it. After calling them and requesting removal, and they didnt contacted FTC via email and notified them of this issue as they are not following it.
I also have this problem, Contacted the FTC as this against regualtions passed. They are not immune from these regulations. Pisses me off actually. HATE SPAM and TELEMARKETERS, bottom of the earth scum.
It's Friday, 6 March 2009 at 5:03 PM. I just received another email from this organization. They continue to disregard my requests for removal as I described in the video. I'll keep posting updates here.
As of 5 February 2009, there still has not been a response from the Get Motivated people. I received another e-mail on 16 January 2009 and presume more are on their way.

@mbrown750 -- Yes, eventually they took my name off their list, but it took over a year as I recall.

It sounds like this guy didn't get VERY MOTIVATED at the Get Motivated Seminar....
Sounds like somebody needs to drive him to McDonald's and buy him a HAPPY MEAL, and allow him to start his day ALL OVER again.....

I'm really baffled by this... How does a company expect to grow and gain a good reputation when they engage in such practices?
