Why ask for a variety of wind instruments to audition if you're only going to take 2 trumpets?! An orchestra with violins, violas, cellos, and 2 trumpets? What kind of instrumentation is that? The Foos really lost my respect after this move.
Some thought should have gone into instrumentation though. They should have had a slot for a sax, a slot for trombone,.... Then have people vote it down to one sax, one trombone, some strings, etc. I'll be really surprised if it turns out to be a great performance. So I'm a "div" for thinking that? Whatever man.
