Metalcore is a shitty genre created in the States. And in my opinion is sadly destroying the future of American metal. American bands today are so horrible that is why European metal bands are taking over!. I'm not saying that European metal sucks, i love it. But my point here how bad American metal is these days, with the exception of a few bands.
