Look above the reaaaaally tall trees, there are floating islands that have magical chests in them. But make sure you go into the dungeon first and get some gold keys from the slimes or you'll cry.

His world was created in 1.0.3. So all the chests in the dungeon and in the Floating Island houses are not locked. Any stuffs that was placed during world creation remains intact and will not change when a new update comes out.
