It's been 20 years since I saw it and it looks even worse now than I remember it. So bad in fact, that I can't watch the clip all the way through.

Watching this, it's hard to believe that both actors ended up winning Oscars.

Firth must have been thinking here 'Two years ago, I was the lead in a film for the two time Oscar winning director, Milos Forman and now I'm stuck on this dreadfully cheap, stylised set...'

I saw it when it was on TV. It was bad. I remember it caused quite a stir at the time because Catherine Zeta-Jones (who had just made her name in The Darling Buds Of May) shows her breasts (shock horror!)

Towards the end, Cathy Tyson complains of having little white spots on her crotch. Firth complains of having little white spots of his tongue and Zeta-Jones figures the rest out for herself...

@dcasey77 i havent seen this movie, but from what i've read here, i dont think i will lol. colin & catherine are both fantastic actors, but this must be a movie their embarrassed to be credited with hahah

@missineichen I wouldn't call Zeta-Jones a fantastic actress but she has certainly gone onto better things via Michael Douglas' bedroom.
