i dont think they should just drop my packages in front of my door if no one answers the door, i know their schedule is long and their busy but they could atleast wait 1-2 minutes to let me open the door. they should also confirm who is taking the package and ask for some ID. because if the package goes into the wrong hands or is lost, who is responsible for it??. they dont always ask for a signature either and even if it went into the right hands, what if that person still claims it missing...
@jerqin14069 yea and a well established delivery company is gonna depend on the idea of all their customers not being douche bags. With todays tough economy, everyone is gonna pull a scam here and there and I cant lie I do too sometimes =p
i work for ups for 10 yrs and now im fucked because im still there thanks to my union. one thing i know is i would not recommend working for them because health issues arise out of this and they will try to make you quit. i am half way to retireing and that sounds good because i dont quit!
I live on a freaking peripheric country, so I often us UPS to receive and send my important global mailings on time. UPS international Express is always fast and consistent. UPS has never lost one package. A package in 36 hours from Los Angeles, CA to Helsinki, Finland. That's pretty awesome to me! Keep up the good work UPS :)
I used to work at Teletech @ 204 Halton Road in Greenville SC who handles customer service calls for UPS. If you ever have to call UPS, don't call 1-800-PICKUPS (1-800-742-5877). They can't do anything for you at that phone line. Instead call 1-800-377-4877. Hit '0'. Then type account # 664404 into your keypad on the phone. You will then be connected to a PREFERRED CUSTOMER service rep who will be able to assist you a whole lot better than anyone at the 800-PICKUPS line.
I'd have to agree with you. I've never had a lost package, as I constantly have been sending packages to Apple. They are extremely punctual and their tracking is great.
Compare tracking, UPS to Purolator. Basically, purolator tells you this, say if you were shipping a package from Toronto to Calgary
Picked up by Purolator
Shipment in transit
Arrival
Shipment in transit.
UPS would tell you where it's going to and from and make it much easier to do.
Because when i think of servants delivering me things I think 'BROWN'.

@Flipster1325 That's where you not being a douche bag and claiming it's missing comes into play.
